Hey dere Pal, On Thursday May 4,2000, in the Tampa Tribune, Florida Metro section, Page 1, and then continued, on page 7: Headlined "OVERDOSE WAS 3RD. DEGREE MURDER James Rouleau, 20, was found guilty of third degree murder Wednesday for supplying his friend with the Heroin that killed him. Ok. Now, #1 NO thing killed this guy as herein reported. The guy DIED after taking too much Heroin. This is a natural consequence. Self administered. The Heroin did NOT, kill him, indeed COULD, not, kill him! Heroin having no "MIND", is incapable of "killing". To kill, is an action, performed by an actor (the killer). Heroin isn't an actor. It doesn't get up and crawl into someone's arm. A Scorpion can kill and is indeed a killer, it is NOT a murderer! Hey, I think your definetly correct in your statements, i do believe that the us judicial system is unfair. I hear of this case that a 15 year old boy went to a friend's grandparent's house and his friend killed his grandparents, the 15 year old boy had no intentions of killing anyone, nor did he know the boy's actions. Yet he got life in jail, for accomplice. I think that's quite unfair. About James Rouleau ; his friend chose to deal with heroin, therefore it was his choice, it doesn't matter who supplied it; the only thing i see that he could be charged with is having and consumming heroin but that's all, he is by far not a murderer. The issue is NOT the unfair judicial system. Oh, its unfair alright. But that is an issue of secondary importance now. You see, there are children today murdering people, (as You so aptly stated above). Because the Media (movies, cartoons, sitcoms, videos, newspapers, radio announcers, television newsreporters, tv shows, comic books, etc, etc.) are confusing & misleading these children with incorrect vernacular (Semantics). The subliminal message of constantly referring to "MURDER" as "KILL" is that they are one and the same action. My contention, is that they are, NOT! In the kids minds they themselves are already murderers because they have all killed a bug of some sort. So there is really no big deal in murdering a human, because it is only a killing them. Now in the "collective conscious" (Jungian Psychology) the collective image of a killer is a Policman in some, a Pussycat in others, and in some a hunter. In this collective consciousness "GOOD GUYS KILL, BAD GUYS MURDER!". The image of a murderer is a dark shadowey figure creeping up on an unsuspecting victim with his knife held up, over his head, in preparation to strike. The image that media is portraying is that "Every body kills" and this is NOT true! BUT this image leads these children into committing murder because its what good guys do, kill. ------------------------------------------------------ We, the people, need to rise up in unison, and call the Universities to task. Apparantly, they are NOT teaching Semantics, in Journelism school. BUT We cannot do that until We all realize just exactly what is going on here. This is the task I have set for myself, and I need help. HELP! HELP! HELP! We need to teach the people, that there is a difference, between the words "kill", and "murder". We need to call everyone who misuses the terms to task. WHEW! ------------------------------------------------------ If the democrats (My party), do indeed succeed in taking away all of Our guns. Children will still murder, (By knife, bow & arrow, hand, or what not) because of Our, vocabularic mis-use. One would think, that television news reporters, would know better, (After all they are such good readers, which makes them appear so intelligent, and didn't they go to juornalism school?), BUT they DON'T! ------------------------------------------------------ You see, we are in a Semantic crises, right NOW!
