Seems like I've seen this question before today ;)
It the message was sent through an "anonymous mailer" like Anonymizer.com, it is basically impossible to track. Try looking at the "page source" which can be accessed through "View" then "Page Source" in Netscape and Explorer is "View" then "Source" I believe. This may provide some additional information. Explore blocking any future mailings from that source through your web browser and if you don't know how to do that learn. It is important to block harassing messages and virus emails like the current "I LOVE YOU" + "A LOVE LETTER FOR YOU" which is destroying computer systems all over the world this week.
If there was ANY return address try searching through a new FREE program we found the other day. It is located at:
http://www.copernic.com
It allows you to search 10 or so email systems at once and may be very useful.
If you didn't get a return address, there is not much to do except complain to your ISP and see if they can block future mailings from that source for you. If the message was at all "threatening", file a complaint with your local police department and also through your ISP service. With a warrant they can request your Server do some research to try and identify the source but this is time-consuming and if it was sent through an anonymous program, will most likely be unproductive.
Take care and good luck!
