Hi, I have to do a Research project on Serial Killers, im not sure how to start it, all i find is examples of them. Nothing really intresting. i was wondering if anyone can help with absolutely anything. I'm trying to maybe, discover something unknown, or simply a way to make my project different and unique. My thesis sentence is.. Although serial killers' actions stem from their early childhood, they should still be held accountable for their crimes. Any opinions, facts or ideas, will be really appreciated. Thanks Lali

This is a very interesting and more importantly rare crime. My point being that there are few experts and even the experts have different oppinions.
I would look to Robert K. Ressler for some ideas. He has been involved, publically and privately, in most of the modern era crimes involving the multiple murderers. He is a former FBI profiler. He is an author, speaker and expert for hire. NBC's "The Profiler" is one claim to fame for him.
I have heard him speak and got the chance to speak to him dirrectly. He is easy to understand in person and as an author.
