Why are so many pro athletes committing heinous violent crime today?

The problems that stick out are:
#1 A decline in what the public expects from an individual's morals and ethics. We have become passive to the "everyday decay". I can remember "shock" tv. There is no such thing anymore. We tune in and expect to see the worst. At this point, with sports figures, we are seeing some of the worst.
#2 There is to much outside influence placed on the judicial systems. Cameras being shoved down the throats of judges, witnesses, experts, law enforcment officials, commissioners, owners, managers etc. Some would say that this is our right to view what is going on. I would argue that this is one way to influence these people. Did OJ get a fair trial? From his point of view, probably.
