How long does it take a divorce to be final after I have been served papers. And if my wife wants to submit drug testing,As part of our parenting plan on me, does the divorce have to be final ?? To start these tests ??... Like child support starts ??

As stated in the similar question in the other category, the time for divorce completion will depend on the specific laws in your State. It could also be delayed for a number of unknown reasons and it appears your divorce may be a complicated one! Check with your attorney or contact one to find out for sure. The issue regarding the drug testing will also depend on the issues addressed by the court or in your divorce decree. Child support usually comes into effect immediately upon separation even, so this does not necessarily involve any connection to the drug tests or finalizing of the divorce itself. Again, check with your attorney or consult with one quickly. You don't want to be in violation of child support or other court mandated requirements.
Hope this helps and good luck!
