Dear OTC Team
Wow! This week we had Highest Ever on three 3rd Dynamic Stats!!! Highest Ever # of Books Sold! Highest Ever Number of Tech Applications: Highest Ever Volunteer Hours!
The VMs and OT Committee joined forces at Cinco de Mayo and everyone involved had a great time sharing the Tech with others. We actually sold 56 books there! Hat's off to Greg Molinaro who sold 17 books which is the highest ever number of books sold by one OT Committee Member in a given week. Charlie Uslander sold 12 and Pilar Uslander sold 10. So many other OT Committee Members contributed their time and theta. Read the list of those who participated and give them a Very Well Done, the next time you see them. Dr. Connie Black, Dave Klarich, Mike Zarnek and Dr. Bill Pollack did a great job in getting this event organized. Again, hat's off to them!
The next VM event will be the weekend of the 21 and 22nd. We are going to be at the Mayfest which is a rollicking frolicking festival, held within blocks of the Org. What a great opportunity. Let's shoot for selling more than 100 books that weekend. All of us need to pitch in and volunteer. It's a blast. Read the success stories of your fellow team mates and then come and join us.

Charlie Uslander: Big fun at the Cinco de Mayo festival!!! Can't wait to do more stuff in the Latino universo!!
Charlie Benedetti: A 14 yr. old lad at Cinco deMayo during the stress test became quite interested in the needle as it read widely when I asked him to "consider your brothers and sisters"......
After the first wide read, I asked which sib causes him stress. He said NO one. I TR-3'd him. It read again. Then I explained how some people live with stress on a daily basis and don't recognize it (I gave an example) After another read, he smiled.......cognited.. and realized his older brother was IT.
However, I believe his major win came from the fact that thoughts contain energy. His face showed a genuine "Aha!". He had no money for a book, but left the tent with a new realization about life, I'm sure.
Ellen Webb: I am so excited, I sold my first books at Cinco de Mayo!! Most of the people I met wanted answers. It was a real eye opener to see how fortunate we are to have the tech and be using it on a daily basis. Sometimes I think that I take it for granted. Others desperately need that tech also! I could hardly believe some of the problems that people are trying to handle! It was very touching to know that I had the ability to give them LRH tech to work out these problems! Ellen
Greg Molinaro: It is amazing to see the interest and hope people have when you are talking with them and doing the Stress Tests. When people see the needle move when you ask them what or who is causing them stress their eyes get very big and they become interested. I have seen people cry, laugh, get upset and huge you for listening and giving them hope by showing them there is a workable solution. People are appreciative you are volunteering to help them with their stress. It is a great experience and something, which makes you feel like a real human, a real Scientologist.
Mike Zarnek: Giving stress tests and selling books at Cinco de Mayo was a blast. It's always fun and when you see how much people need help and recognize help it's fantastic.
When I do this activity, I'm always amazed how my opinion of people gets better. So many different "types" of people sit down and pick up the cans...old, young, upstat, downstat, sick, well, "gangstas", politicians, cops, firemen, you name it.
What happens is my confront goes way up and when they pick up the cans and see the needle reacts to what they are thinking, they are all amazed and laugh. The spiritual being who has that body has emerged and that spiritual being recognizes the truth and wants help.
This is an activity of waking up mankind, and showing them that there is a way out. And this is all done outside with music playing and carnival rides going by and vendors selling cell phones on one side and pots and pans on the other. You are very simply and plainly showing them the way out. So make sure you participate at the next festival/event. (May 20, 21, 22 near Belmont & Ashland. An announcement will be sent out)...and on top of all that, you can even get a suntan while you're doing this and the food is great!
Mike Zarnek
Frank Molinaro: My students really love being a coach in data drilling and want to help other students learn.
Pilar Uslander: Yes, a lot.
