On the morning of October 1, 2004, is Youth for Human Rights Day at Los
Angeles City Hall !
This event has captured more attention units than anything I have been involved in in this area. We are producing it with assistance from the Mayor's Office. The participants are LAUSD school children. We have secured the Executive Director of the Commission of Human Relations for the City, council people, and possibly even people from the Board of Supervisors of LAUSD. The interest in the event continues to grow. This is an event that we have to have so perfect because everything about it is not only exchange 4, [see defintion below] but it is also high demonstration of competence. The Youth Summits that are being done in the schools are getting incredible response, and if you could hear some of the essays that these children have written as a result of being introduced to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, you would have a hard time not getting teary-eyed. It is very moving. The Youth Summit on that day is in a hearing room of City Hall.
So, aside from top sound, top entertainment, a roster of VIPs and real participation by the LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District), the biggest needed and wanted is that core of volunteers that are on hand so that everything from setups to registration to media handling and everything through breakdown is done smoothly. It is the number of volunteers that ultimately ensures the best result. We are going to have a briefing for all volunteers on Wednesday at 7:00 so that people know ahead of time what they are doing, where to go, how to dress, how to get there.
Two shifts, 7:30 to 10:30 am and 10:30 to 1:00 (approx) am. If interested, please e-mail the Church PR office at freedomla@earthlink.net. No special skills required, although we specifically need a very good photographer as well.

Exchange 4
In Scn there are 4 conditions of exchange. The fourth condition is exchange in abundance.
