Possibly in relation to the Wayback Machine fiasco, yet again, the first screen of Google hits for the search term "Scientology" are predominantly critical. After the first two "sponsored" hits (which may as well be labelled "skip me"), 7 of the top 10 hits are critical. I think it's also possible the Wayback Slashdot coverage is incidental to the general tweaking Google has been doing lately to PageRank. Any tweaking is likely to result in degradation of rank for spammers such as the crime cult of Scientology.
