I received this e-mail today: "Sean, I came by tonight to end this. I had the checks from the different orgs. I want to finish this. There are no 'handlings.' I have received your e-mail. There is a receipt and release to sign. Anyone receiving a refund from any type of organization would be expected to sign one. I can tell you that it is standard practice in everything I deal with. Let’s meet at a location we both agree upon. Would you feel comfortable meeting me at the Marie Callendar’s in Midvale Tuesday evening at 8:30 p.m.? If not please suggest a location you would feel comfortable meeting at. Rex" Here is my response: "Rex: This is not a refund. It is a return of advance payments. I will need to take the release and receipt to an attorney before I sign them. The only thing I am willing to agree to is that I will not receive Scientology services again. Nothing more. Please mail the documents to me. I will take no further action in the meantime. Please DO NOT come to my property again. Any further communication must be done by mail or e-mail. Thank you Sean" -- The Anti-Reg, ATS (Actual Trouble Source) "I got regged one too many times!" -------------------------------------------------- "They smell of all the baths they didnt take. Good advice. If I may also suggest a couple of things: you are not the only person who has been the object of this kind of persistent attention. You might want to talk to Grady Ward privately about how to best secure yourself against unwanted intrusions. I also recommend reading, if you haven't already done so, Kim Baker's story about her encounter with OSA representatives in S. Africa after she left the CoS and had written an affidavit. Talking to your neighbors and letting them know what's going on so that they can be alert and helpful to you is an idea forwarded by many of the critics who have been picketed in their private homes. Your actions against Narconon in Utah make you a real enemy, and if I were you I wouldn't try to minimize this fact or be too proud to ask for advice. I'm sure you know this, but it doesn't hurt to remind you: agents of the Church of Scientology are vindictive and genuinely dangerous. You have threatened their income and reputation by exposing them, and that makes you Fair Game. Be very careful. I'm serious, Sean. --Barbara DO NOT REPLY TO ABOVE ADDRESS; USE twain@scn.org
