Guess what OSA is up to now???
They're a bit like "Where's Waldo" if you've ever read that book. There are a million people, but 'somewhere' is "Waldo" and the theme is to find him. Not that hard, once you get the game.... but it always reminds me of OSA.
So their latest and greatest TOP SECRET project (cough! errr... how could I possibly know??? Get out the Sec checks, OSA!) is to get a letter mailing campaign going to tell the top Search Engine groups to please "remove hate sites from their site". These include AOL, Google, Yahoo, Lycos, and Netscape.
OSA>>>>>why don't you just 'Get honest and Straight?"
Here's the e-mail:

Subject: Search engine campaign against "hate sites"
Hey Tory -
I wanted to pass along a bit of data. Do with it as you wish......
(requesting the sender name be withheld)
-A-(name withheld to protect the innocent) business associates (Scns) received a briefing from Jon ****( a Scientologist being used by C of S/OSA).......Everyone was told it was a very, very secret project and not to pass it along to anyone outside of those in the room. Basically it was a letter-writing campaign to get Scientologists to email each of the search engines of AOL, Google, Yahoo, Lycos, and Netscape asking them to remove "hate-sites" from their sites.
My only thought on why this is so secret is so the critics don't know about it and send emails to the search engines telling them to keep the sites listed which would cancel out their efforts. So perhaps that would be helpful.....

They are supposed to say things like:
"Scientologists have suffered personal violence and bloodshed in Europe and the USA. Potentially violent and unstable people get their fuel from others hate-speech. Do you want an incident of violence traced to a hate-site found by your search engine?"
"This issue is absolutely not a matter of "free speech" or "showing both sides of a controversial subject." One is not free to incite violence, to fuel hatred, or yell "fire!" in a crowded theatre. These hate sites actively seek to ruin others' lives and businesses, then hide behind "free speech".
"Scientologists with excellent work records have been fired or lost their businesses when hate-media mentioned them as Scientologists or stirred up ignorant anti-Scientology hysteria. Do you want those economic repercussions traced to your search engine?"
"Hate sites for other religions, other persuasions are omitted from search results -- as they should be! It's prejudicial to include hate-sites that denigrate Scientology. (Please find another example besides Judaism; it gets overloaded as a comparison point.)"
They are to send their emails to:
Google: comments@google.com Yahoo: http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/abuse/cgi_abuse Lycos: abuse@tripod.com Netscape: http://wp.netscape.com/feedback/general.html AOL: http://www.aol.com/info/feedback.html
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
And, true to form of course, they're keeping stats of how many emails were sent out and any responses they get reporting back to Jon **** at reachout@attbi.com.
Just thought you'd want to know! End of E-mail.
PS: This post was made by Tory Christman who used to be in Scientology for 30 years, and worked with their Office of Special Affairs for 20 years as a volunteer.
One of the last things I did before leaving, was be the Executive Director for a group called "The Scientology Parishioners League" with my senior being the Vice President of Scientology, Janet Weiland. The intention of this group was supposed to be to "Stamp out any and all 'black PR" or critical information about The Church of Scientology.
At the time I believed, as I'm sure Jon still does, that people writing critical things are just "religious bigots" or "Hate Mongers". Nothing could be farther from the truth. A bigot, per Webster's New World Dictionary is: 1) "a person who stubbornly and without thinking holds to certain opinions and will not listen to other views. 2) a prejudiced and narrow minded person.
That is EXACTLY what this group (Scientology-esp part of Church of Scientology or OSA) does. They refuse to even speak to anyone who questions their group in a critical eye. I was a Scientologist for 30 Y E A R S, and once I left, not one of my 30 year "Friends" will even speak to me. They've been fed lies about me, to the point where they hate me, all under the guise of "Religion".
Scientologists within what is known as "the Church of Scientology" refuse to speak with anyone with any information other than what they want known, except those they know they can "Handle" or feed lies to, and get to stop speaking out.
Sure...if they know they can "handle the person" they will say, "Sure, we'll talk to you". Here's the question: Will they talk to me? No. Will they talk to many others who have left? No. I sat in a room with three Scientogists recently and some ministers. She compared me (who was a very active member for 30 years) with Hitler! Come on!!! Needless to say, when the ministers read that they literally and physically write "SP declares" basically slandering people endlessly, their true colors came out.
Will they even read books that expose ~true facts~ about their own organization? No. However, they will write to Search engines, not even knowing what is really on the sites they are complaining about (as they cannot read them), and tell them to remove things. That is bigotry.
I know what I speak of. I called A & E and insisted they take off the Head of Scientology, David Miscavige and Scientology, from a show about Cults, when I'd never even read what a Cult is. After we'd sent enough e-mails, sure enough, within 24 hours they took it off. I was also asked to call MTV, which I did, and pounded on the Producer to change the "Simpson" skit they had, as they were using "our religious tenants" in a defamatory way. What was I thinking of? Dianetics (which they were using) is NOT religious, even per the author: Hubbard!!! I kept pounding for two days, and they changed it, to our great shock.
I was told this group idea came from Jon **** (a man being used by C of S/OSA), listed above. However, the VP asked me to be the ED, which I was for a few months, until I left C of S, due to their endless attempts at stopping Free Speech, which got me looking at what else might be going on that I didn't know about. Once I read, I left.
My best suggestion is to read up on ALL of these Web sites, and remove nothing. The truth shall set you free. Words cannot harm you, unless you are trying to lie to others. Then they can be violently harmful, or so those running "The Scio/Truman Show" think.
OSA: Please stop trying to harm others, and stop knowledge. Clean up your own back yard, and you *might* stand a chance. Obviously *This* way is NOT working. Some day you will get even your own people are against stopping Free Speech, no matter what people say. It was actually what really got me leaving.
All the best :))

To X-Scientologists and Critics, feel free to send this letter to anyone, as long as it is not altered in any way. It is not OK for C of S to use in any way, although I'm sure they will, one way or the other, to spread more hatred about me.
