The crime syndicate Scientology is making new friends daily in San
Diego!
Due to a large number of hang-up calls yesterday, my folks now have this
message on their machine:
"We apologise for not answering your call promptly, but we are being
harrassed by a childish criminal cult who has been leaving a number of
false calls. Please leave a message and we will get back to you."
This intriguing message is bound to spark curiousity in friends and
family who call, and my folks are well-prepared to provide further
information about the true nature of Scientology. In fact, they're a bit
pissed off right now by this foolishness, and will inform everyone at
their church as to the cult's stupid and wicked games.
Moreover, another interesting incident occurred yesterday. A couple of
friends came by to pick up some cans and bottles for recycling. After
they left, I later got a call from them...as they left my place, they
were followed by a late-model blue van with no license plates. Jill
jokingly said, "Oh, look, we're being followed." Since he was busy
looking in the rearview mirror, Steve missed the freeway exit and went
on up the hill where the street deadends. The van stayed with them, far
enough behind that they couldn't see the driver. When they did a U-turn,
the van pulled over and the driver pretended to be looking for an
address. As they headed down the hill, the van did a U-turn and got
behind them again. Steve then decided to lose it, and did. The last they
saw of the van, they were going over a bridge, and the van was down
below, sadly watching them vanish.
Way to go, cult! You are going to have two new picketers to deal with,
and these are people who do not take kindly to harrassment. They're
eager to play your little game, and they have some friends who will no
doubt be paying the org a visit, well provided with signs and fliers.
Thank you OSA, can I have another?
