It was no surprise to see that the cult morons misspelled my name on the headline of my DA flier. Oh, but we will probably see that, not only can I not park a motorcycle, I have been spelling Barbaba wrong all these years, as Scientology Is Never Wrong.
The more I thought about it, the more it bothered me. So, I looked up San Diego Scientology on Google, and got our friendly local org's phone number. Not an easy task. Like the flier, their website is all munged up, with text stacked on top of text.
I called the fax/phone number. I presume you must first phone them to tell them a fax is coming in, so some monkey can flip the switch?
A guy answered with a voice like Soothing Syrup. If you call a "church", this is the voice you want to hear.
Me: Isn't Scientology supposed to make the able more able?
He: (cautiously) yesssss....
Me: Then why is it you spelled my name wrong on the Dead Agenting flier you posted around my neighborhood while I was picketing? It's B A R B A R A. I mean, you're supposed to be these Mightee Beans, and you can't even spell a simple name correctly!
He: Message received.
Me: Good!
It's not quite as bad as the Delphi brochure they mailed out to my folks' neighborhood. That one had a graph which was mislabeld. Or the mistake I castigated poor Ken Hoden over, where the cult paid upwards of $20,000 to have an insert distributed with the San Diego paper...and insert that had their OLD ADDRESS on it!
It's almost like serious, stupid fuckups has become a hallmark of the ""church"" of Scientology in San Diego! I try and I try to help them, but they just won't listen!

"Imagine a "church" so dangerous, you must sign a release form before you can receive its "spiritual assistance."
This assistance might involve holding you against your will for an indefinite period, isolating you from friends and family, and denying you access to appropriate medical care. You will of course be billed for this treatment - assuming you survive it. If not, the release form absolves your caretakers of all responsibility for your suffering and death.
Welcome to the "Church" of Scientology."
