You Fundamentalists (I can hardly refer to you as christians, as I don't like lumping you all together to reflect badly on the majority) who take the Bible as absolute truth, miss the whole point of the Bible. I suggest you read 'Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalism' a very good book by Bishop Spong of the Episcopalian church of Newark.
