Jan Eastgate, President of the CCHR International, today issued a Press Release which stated that evil psychiatrists were responsidlbe for the failure of John Travolta's move, Battlefield Earth. BE was based on L. Ron Hubbard' heroic and all time best selling novel. The BE movie was trashed and reviled in over 200 move reiews and attendence never materialized. Experts within the move industry state that Battlefield Earth is the worst movie ever made and the biggest flop in movie history.

Ms Eastgate stated in the CCHR Press Release that an extensive investigation has revealed that a covert operation funded by the evil psychiatric industry has brought about the demise of John Travolta's movie, Battlefield Earth. Evil psychiatrists have poisoned the minds of americans with the evil psychiatric drugs, Prozac and Ritalin to the point where they are unable to recognize the genius of John Travolta and L. Ron Hubbard. Ms. Eastgate said that the movie BE will be a smash hit in France where people have not yet been numbed by the Prozac and Ritalin and where they do recognize the comic genius of Jerry Lewis.

Jan Easgate denied rumors that the CCHR is a front group for the Church of Scientology and that the CCHR is a hate group which uses tax-exempt funds to discredit psychiatric treatment.
