This is my first post to this newsgroup, for those who don't know already, yes, I'm the great grandson of L. Ron Hubbard on my mother's side, I even have his red hair. I've been in Florida for two days now and have been absolutely flabbergasted by the full scale madness that I've witnessed out here. Most of the Church simply ignores me, hopes I'll vanish like so many others, but I absolutely couldn't give a flying fuck knowing full well OSA has probably got my picture out to every cult shark to watch me carefully (they already fucked with my family in California). As I walk past the compound, past 22 security cameras and dozens of security guards everywhere shaking my head at the drones who were sold on a badly written sci fi cult mind fuck that rivals the Battlefield Earth movie. I watched the innumerous picket videos and stopped by the Lisa Mcpherson trust office, heard confessions of escapees, I watched my name endure a pitifully ridiculous smear campaign from across the continent and now see it face to face. My first day here I went to the entrance of the Fort Harrison and was quickly shoved out the door. I just wanted to see L Ron's office still waiting for his flesh meat vessel. My grandfather was L Ron Hubbard Jr., a man who spent half his life as one of the top men in the church before "blowing the org" and warring against his father in the courtrooms, in the courts and the press. I am a nationwide spoken word performer, also a nationally competing slam poet and I run my own shows out in California and have toured the nation several times. Bubba's radio show this morning was a rollicking affair and they dug my verbal vehemence so much that they invited me in on Monday for a two hour time slot with call ins and everything. I encourage all questions on air, and in no way consider myself an expert. I tried to read Dianetics but found it surrealist gibberish, a ridiculously convoluted word salad hodge podge that'd rival William Burroughs cut and paste word experiments or better yet shotgun art. I'm curious about all of you and what brought you here. I've mostly stayed out of this battle for years, but I'm fascinated by this entire war and want to enter in the discussion...j..
