alt.religion.scientology is a hate group, nothing more. The majority of the people who post here lie, mislead and distort about Scientology, and they know they do it. It helps them to make a point, it helps them to poison the minds of newbies and lurkers.

Some of them have psychological disorders. Some of them are criminals.

These are the people who post here - to try and make Scientology in someway sound sinister.

They use the word "cult" to describe Scientology - but the fact is that Scientology is a recognised religion in many different parts of the world,including the United States of America.

Certain individuals here who attack the Church of Scientology have attempted to get Scientologists removed from their internet service providers, to get them off the newsgroup for good.

Certain individuals who attack Scientology, refuse to accept when they are proved wrong and are found out lying. They turn round and accuse Scientologists of being "delusional" and "paranoid", when the fact is these are the very traits these critics have, who spend so much of their time on the net trying to slate a religion.

Its unfortunate that this newsgroup is the way it is.

An organisation that is helping millions of people all over the planet.

That organisation is the Church of Scientology.

Yet there are a small number of people who oppose Scientology and its efforts to help mankind.

These are people who have low standards & no moral principles.

They persecute Scientology and its followers who seek only to help.

They criticise their efforts, and work hard to try and make them fail.

Why ?

Because these people do not understand about Scientology.

They have no sense of ethics and therefore criticise individuals, groups and organisations that do.

They dont recognise nor understand the desire in some of us to help fellow man, and indeed the planet we live on.

Let them do what they will. They are of no use to the rest of us who want to help.

The truth is what we learn and experience ourselves, and not in the words of others.

Yet there are a small amount of individuals who continue to attack these aims, and the efforts of individual Scientologists.

Saving the planet may not be easy, but if its going to be done then it needs intent and honesty.

The few who would rather criticise than join in and help have little.

The world can be saved, as can mankind. And if everyone would trust eachother and put all their strengths to doing good, then perhaps there is a chance.

I have been observing this newsgroup for some time. I know that this particular posting will result in various flames including blatant insults, denigration and other unseemly activities. However, I feel something should be stated to the members of a.r.s.:

You will never win. Regardless of whatever crimes you know you have committed (for those who have committed crimes), regardless of the tremendous amount of hate-filled rhetoric, regardless of the "logical"

dissections of the religion of Scientology, you will never win.

You know why. The truth of it seeps through the core of your soul with the thoroughness of the venom which spews from your fingers and mouths.

People like Ron Newman, Arnie Lerma, Robert Vaughn Young, Tilman Hausherr, Pimoty, Grady Ward, Gerry Armstrong, Dennis Erlich, Garry Scarff, Steven Fishman, Larry Wollersheim, Graham Berry, Jim DBB, Martin Hunt, Rob Clark, Joe Cisar, et al. have a vision of destruction. Not just of the Church of Scientology but of life in general.

They see their cause as a just one, one that must be fought to the bitter end. In the long run, they will pull their world down around them in one last desperate attempt to be right.

And that's all a.r.s. is really. A last ditch attempt at rightness for those whose fortitude is relegated to words on a screen.

To all members of a.r.s., if the following statement applies to you, please heed it:

Why? Because I have seen implied death threats and implied violence by members of a.r.s. who have been criticized for their views. I do not choose to place my family's welfare at risk. Someone here has already suggested I place my foot in my rear. Granted, it would be an amusing portrait, but it would be rather uncomfortable for both my foot and my rear. It also implies a general dislike for me which could be transferred by the psychotic who mentioned it to a physical dislike, which I would prefer to avoid.

Anyway, those who feel my sarcasm too biting or not biting enough or who have not had their postings answered by me personally, don't feel bad. There are enough psychotics on a.r.s. (you know who you are) who will fill that void in your heart. Just reach out and touch them.

Other issues:

1. Many A.R.S. members can never be proven wrong by anyone who disagrees with their views and get very disturbed if disproven publicly.

Watch.

2. Arnie Lerma and Larry Wollersheim essentially started a.r.s. with their trove of negative information and were joined by the great unwashed in small numbers who continue to show, on a daily basis, that bigots, namecallers, mental handbags, rabid fanatics, and soup spoons can all get together and put a quality newsgroup together. Well, not quite.

3. The designations of SP1, 2, etc. are invalid. Anyone who so designates themself or anyone else with SP 1 to 9, has violated the a.r.s. code. Only people who don't really think they are suppressive people are allowed to name themselves as suppressive. If you don't really think you are a suppressive, raise your hand!

4. Conspiracy theories run unchecked and at high velocity throughout a.r.s. with no quality control. They are believed by the average a.r.s.

member almost as rapidly as they are posted. Quick test: There is not, I repeat, there is NOT a picket taking place in Montana. So, don't go to the church there.

5. Most a.r.s. members are slightly above average intelligence. They know just enough to show vividly that they know nothing at all.

6. Many a.r.s.ers (or mules, yeah, MULES! Look at the mulebots! Look at the muledroids! They have such fixed stares.) have a basic confusion on general decency and prefer to toss out their manners with their wits. a.r.s. members, excuse me, Mules seem to be eunuchs to reason and let their hormones drag them around. And this constant status climbing...pathetic.

7. Finally, a.r.s. members tend to beat dead horses.

But the lies that are in this newsgroup continue. The news group ARS is still for the most part a collective hate group spreading lies.

You know something. You guys are NEVER going to win over Scientology.

Know why?

Because all you do is copy, rather poorly most of the time. You cheat at your game of "Representation." You cheat at the game of "utilization." You cheat in the game you play. You miss the real important opportunities that are present. You fail to appreciate people and the subject and what it can do. That's why you're not very much worried about most of the time (my opinion), and that's why you will not succeed.
