Last week, it was ascertained that this Peter Arena who introduced CAN Laura to Reg Alev, is actually the ex-husband of Carla Nelson, the friend that NWU Laura lost to the Chicago Org. It appears that Peter Arena at first opposed Carla Nelson's decision to join Scientology, but later on followed a couple of courses himself and joined.

On Feb 22 1999, Reg Alev was shown a wedding picture of Peter Arena and Carla Nelson. Reg identified Peter as the person who came to his house and who introduced CAN Laura to him.
Carla Nelson, having been NWU Laura's best friend, knew many details of NWU Laura's history, including NWU Laura's participation in Conscious Development and her plan to have her surname changed.

On retrospect, it seems evident that the information Carla Nelson had about NWU Laura, was used to concoct an identity for CAN Laura. And it has now been shown that CAN Laura was introduced to CAN via people who had strong ties to Scientology.
Carla Nelson is still involved in Scientology, and by now deeply. A year ago or so, she was described as "second in command" by her ex-husband Peter.
