I got this from one of those email humor posts making the rounds. It seems to sum up Scientology nicely:

Cashtration...the deliberate amputation of savings and income inflicted upon members by management of the Scientology organization. Members are convinced that this surgery is necessary and beneficial to their wellbeing.
