Is Citizens for an Alternative Tax System one of the front groups? Did not find it listed on FACTNET or other sites.http://www.cats.org/ Remember seeing newsletters from this group at my Scieno friends house----among the other thousand pieces of propaganda.

I need to be sure before a friend adds it to his website.

It started as a Scientology front; although there is no evidence that it ever recruited for Scientology, the purpose of the group (which has also non-Scientologists as members) is to make the I.R.S. obsolete. While it is no longer an "active front", it is operated by scientologists.

Executive Director is Scientologist Vic Krohn (also mentioned as Victor Krohn). Besides this, Scientologist Marie C. Gale (OT8) is listed as Florida Regional Office Director in the WISE 1991 list. She was also Director of CCHR of the Carolinas until April 1998. President is the infamous Scientologist attorney Steven L. Hayes. The Operations Director of C.A.T.S. Las Vegas is WISE member Glenn Wahlquist.
