comments: I just heard on the 8:00 pm newscast (Thurs 7/11/2002)a
story about a mental patient who died. One source used was the
executive director of the Citizens' Commission on Human Rights. You
should be aware that the CCHR is one of many front groups for the
Church of Scientology. CCHR's purpose is to promote Scientology's
rabid and insane hatred of psychiatrists and psychologists ("psyches"
in Scientology jargon), who, Scientology teaches, are the cause of all
the world's ills. At a certain point in their indoctrination,
Scientologists are taught that the psychiatric profession is part of a
conspiracy which includes a cadre of international bankers and, as
bizarre as it sounds, an alien race called the Marcabs, who are
hell-bent on enslaving the world. CCHR cannot, therefore, be
considered a reliable and responsible source for stories of this
nature. It goes far beyond the expected "spin" a special interest
group might put on a story related to its agenda. Your station has
done many excellent programs on the Church of Scientology's bizarre
beliefs and corrupt practices, so I hope you will not be duped by this
Scientology propaganda organ. For more information on Scientology, see
"Operation Clambake" at www.xenu.net, a site dedicated to exposing the
truth about Scientology. Also see Scientology's official site at
www.scientology.org. Of course, there you will find no mention of
Scientology's insane "theology" or references to the many front groups
who lure the unsuspecting into this abominable cult. Sincerely Toby
