A complaint will also be e-mailed to the abuse account at AOL and at cotse.com. It's unfortunate that a few overzealous individuals, working for a secretive propaganda group, can interfere with an international forum such as a.r.s. If anyone wants to point out information, they can always list a URL to a web site, rather than listing pages of material that is of little or no interest to the readership here. Worse, a person may modify their medication based on advice from a group with an avowed hatred of doctors. Or they might remove a child from prescribed medication without consulting a doctor. Notice that these spammers don't give real world alternative therapies; they just denigrate medical professionals following the CCHR covert agenda to destroy this branch of medical practice. Doctors have earned their patients' trust by providing valuable services to them and it is unethical to subvert that trust in this irresponsible manner. Hubbard failed to get medical validation for his methods during his lifetime. He also concealed his own drug use, while performing dangerous experimentation on unsuspecting Scn staff. I personally was involved in the "pilot" for the Purification Rundown and can attest that we were instructed to wear tight fitting plastic warm up suits for hours at a time, eat a bizarre diet, take large quantities of vitamins, etc. The program changed serveral times based on telexes from an anonymous individual (presumable Hubbard but who knows?). People had adverse reactions. A long-time Scn staff OTIII (Glen Smoak) of DC org simply walked away one day and never returned, after a bad experience on the purif. I was physically attacked by a purif pc while delivering the service at the DC Mission (and had to buy repair auditing to deal with the incident, at my own expense).
