Dear OTC Team
This is the last report that will go to International Management before Maiden Voyage, and we are sending them some very good news. Our actives were up to 47! We have almost twice as many active OTC members as we did last year at this time, so very well done. We also had three OT level starts!
I look forward to seeing all of you at the brunch this weekend.. I know that you will enjoy the drilling that we are going to do. Learning how to have whatever you decide you want to have in life is a great way to start the summer.
See you there.
ML AllyneAl Katz: I was doing a Touch Assist on a person who was having a reaction to their new medication. As I was doing the Assist most of the symptoms listed as side effects turned on with this person. So we ran them out by just doing the touch assist and the person felt better. Never experienced that much on a Touch Assist.Chicago OT Committee Weekly Activity Report WE 05-31-2005 1) Number of books sold to raw public. 12 Bookseller Number of Books Bill Webb 1 Jay Mann 1 Karen Hill 10

8) WINS:
Charlie Bebedetti: One student completion : TWTH
Greg Molinaro: I helped a closed friend of mine who was having some doubt about a decision they want to make. I went through the doubt formual with them and it was great to see things shift in their universe and start to realize what they needed to confront and the truth about their decision. It is great to see the tech in use and helping others.
Frank Molinaro: One of my student's report came back from his teacher about his progress in reading. The report stated he has improved his reading level in just 3 three months what normally takes one year for a student to learn. I have been tutoring him for just 3 months.
Karen Hill: It was a real win to go to the Flee Market on Sunday. It was empty. I have been listening to the LRH lecture series and have had many cogs from these lectures. I decided to apply what I had learned. I really got into communication with the people that I spoke to. As a result I did 24 e-meter demenstrations and sold 10 books. Also, when I arrived to the Flee Market, one of the people in charge told me to come with him. He showed my tee shirt to one of the venders and they read Scientology and were smiling. He then went to get me about 1/2 hour later and brought me to another vendor. This vendor and I talked and he bought the Dianetics DVD. So the day was really layed back and fun with the few people that I saw. I really talked to them. So I encourage everyone to sell books. It is a blast! This is the way to really help people!!
Laura Doreson: I helped a new friend sort out something in her marriage using standard ethics tech. I didn't even think about it as I knew it cold from G.A.T. training. She emailed me and was overwhelmed with the response from her husband; they sorted out the misunderstanding and asked that I be her husband's FSM. I thought this was funny because it was so easy. I assisted another good friend to get back on track on her Bridge. This was a win from the auditor training on Solo Part One. I was so confident and was therefore able to get through to this being. Her husband came to me with tears in his eyes, bear-hugged me and said, "What did you do?! She wouldn't listen to anyone." All I did was talk to her at her current tone level and raised it slightly. It was that easy. All we have to do as active OT Comm Members is use any and all tech we've learned.
Mike Zarnek: I gave a Nerve Assist to the cleaning guy for our office. He speaks only spanish. He had back stiffness and at the end of the assist he said "fantastico!" and was moving his shoulders around freely.
