I enjoy your web site and find it both amusing and informative. When put into the light of day many of the assertions of Clam-bology seem down right far fetched. They seem also to be about money and power so openly.

I would like to have seen your site some 30 years ago. Like most organizations and cults, they go for the weak and isolated in crisis. Promise what cannot be delivered and make a lack of progress seem the fault of the initiate.

I feel lucky to have only lost a year or better of life and a few thousand dollars. I am also happy to have survived with my sanity. I feel quite foolish.

Please continue your efforts. Your website is important. Only a few days ago I gave it, (along with several others of a similar nature) to an acquaintence of my wife's who was about to be sucked in. Ironically it was the same old lines.

It is a truly vicious cult. I now live in [XXXXXX], and have seen this first hand. I had to join the military service to be rid of these scallywags.

Please keep the pressure up. Your site is a wonderful resource. It is your measured and considered response to the emotional appeals and attempts at persuasive attacks that really are the most telling.

While almost everybody who contacts me support the site, I do have the occasional irritated Scientologist. This came the same day as the above:

You might not care when others are lied to or being defrauded, you might not blink when children are neglected and families ruined. You probably don't care that people are tricked when they are weak or down. It's ironically part of your freedom to not care or act.

But I do. I will try to expose lies and deceit when I see it.

You enjoy an incredible amount of freedom because someone before you stood up against abuse and oppression. You might take that freedom and your luxury for granted and only think of yourself, but unless we guard this freedom it is actually much easier to loose than it was to gain.

CoS is a totalitarian cult aiming for a fascistic and Orwellian society. I'll happily spend a few hours of my life now and again to fight such organizations. I don't want to give away any of my freedom!

I don't trust you will be there to help when we try to regain it.

Freedom of speech, open debate and exchange of information has no value if nobody bothers to use it. Your definition of "moron" seems to be anyone presenting anything you don't understand or agree with. Well, friend, that's how society works and you better get used to the idea. Your emotions will keep you very busy if you're going to run around telling people they are "morons" and "dicks" just because they don't do like you. Cause' that's all you got - hot air! Please point at ___ANY___ errors on my site and I'll correct them, or at least host your corrections. That's a challenge, show me what you are made of.
