Two weeks ago someone from a anti-mental-health newsgroup posted a claim here in a.r.s. that Scientology Inc. has greatly curbed crime in Clearwater, Florida. Let's compare Xenu City with the national average per capita!

The only listed crimes that are NOT HIGHER in Clearwater is auto theft
and, amazingly considering Scientollogy Inc.'s penchant for mysterious
fires, arson. Conversely, the city I live in (which has ZERO
Scientology activity) is below the national average on EVERY listed
crime:

Update: FBI crime stats for Clearwater. Stats are increasing in every
area except rape. I wonder what would happen if one plotted the number
of Scientologists arriving and leaving town--- would the increase in
the number of Scientologists in Clearwater parallel the increase in
crime?
