25 GOOD REASONS WHY SCIENTOLOGY MUST BE ABOLISHED by Dilbert Perkins

1. Because Scientology frequently causes harm, permanent disabilities, death - death of the body-mind-spirit.

2. Because Scientologists frequently violate their own creed, which instructs them "First Do No Harm."

3. Because Scientologists attempt to humiliate and harass people, especially their critics.

4. Because Scientology is not a science, nor has it been scientifically tested.

5. Because Scientology is quackery, a pseudo-science which lacks independent diagnostic tests, testable hypotheses, and cures for "schizophrenia" and all other types of mental illnesses and disorders -- though it claims these disorders can be cured with vitamins.

6. Because Scientology practices cannot raise a person’s IQ, prevent or cure illness, give it’s followers control over MEST, or create an "OT" (Operating Thetan) yet the Church claims "expert witnesses" to promote the OT myth.

7. Because the Church of Scientology has caused a worldwide epidemic of pain and death -- many mentally ill Scientologists refuse to get the medical help they need because their "religion" forbids it.

8. Because Scientologists manufacture thousands of Engrams, described in its bible called "Dianetics" (an outdated 1950s self-help book); such "Engrams" are in fact negative, class-and-culturally-biased moral judgments for dissident ways of coping with personal problems and alternative ways of perceiving, interpreting or being in the world.

9. Because Scientologists, blinded by their Dianetic dogma, fraudulently pathologize and label people's personality traits as levels on imaginary tone scale, and then falsely claim that that they can fix you -- for a hefty price.

10. Because the Church of Scientology compounds this fraud by falsely claiming, without scientific proof, that these "engrams" are caused by aliens, called "body thetans" that are attached to your body and can only be removed by expensive Scientology auditing.

11. Because the Church of Scientology frequently misinforms its followers, their families and the public by claiming that Scientology processes like "touch assists", the "purification rundown", and the "introspection rundown" are "safe, effective and lifesaving". The exact opposite is tragically true.

12. Because the Church of Scientology routinely deceives and lies to its followers and the public.

13. Because the Church of Scientology routinely and willfully violates the law by misinforming or not informing its followers about the numerous toxic, disabling and frequently permanent effects of auditing and other Scientology practices.

14. Because the Church of Scientology routinely threatens, intimidates and sues its critics, despite a Constitutuional right to free speech.

15. Because the Church of Scientology frequently fails to fully inform it followers about existing safe and humane, medical alternatives that could be used -- and paid for by insurance -- instead of expensive Scientology courses and auditing.

16. Because the Church of Scientology is sexist, frequently forcing its female Sea Org members to get abortions against their will -- claiming that the Church cannot afford to keep children.

17. Because the Church of Scientology homophobic, frequently stereotyping gay people as "mentally and physically sick." The Church of Scientology claims that homosexuals can be "cured" with Scientology auditing, but if that doesn’t work, gays should be kept separate from society and killed.

18. Because the Church of Scientology is ageist, often kicking senior Sea Org members out on the street because they are no longer able to function dependably for the Church.

19. Because the Church of Scientology is racist, disproportionately targeting white people with money.

20. Because The Church of Scientology routinely violates people's civil rights, human rights and constitutional rights such as imprisoning its own staff without court trial or public hearing ("Rehabilitation Project Force", or RPF), and subjecting them to cruel and unusual punishments or tortures such as forced labor, brainwashing, involuntary abortions, solitary confinement, and physical restraints.

21. Because the Church of Scientology masterminded the mass murder of hundreds of thousands of vulnerable people including disabled children, the elderly and psychiatric patients during The Holocaust in Nazi Germany, and "selected" hundreds of thousands of concentration camp prisoners for death ("T-4 euthanasia" program) - historical facts still missing in psychiatric textbooks and histories.

22. Because Scientologists have willingly participated in and administered mind-control experiments in the United States and Canada since the early 1950s - its chief targets have been poor patients, women, dissidents and prisoners.

23. Because Scientology, particularly the "Religious Technology Center" variety, is based on the 3 Fs: Fear, Fraud,and Force.

24. Because Scientology is a form of social control or punishment - not treatment.

25. Because Scientology, is fascist - a direct threat to democracy, human rights and life.
