Heh...I so love it when a spokes-thetan uses this argument, because it can so easily be turned around against them. Yes, the cult does threaten the Freezone, which makes all of Sunsurfer D00d's arguments spurious. We do realize, of course, that what he's arguing for is the cult's right to threaten others, without being threatened itself.
At any rate, the threats from critics are mocked up. They love to portray themselves as victims of a scary, crazy band of psychotic critics who will hunt them down like dogs simply for "practising their religion." Hasn't happened, ain't gonna happen.
Threats from the "Church" of Scientology, though, are quite real.
Critics have been assaulted by glassy-eyed church members. People who oppose them (freezone counts here) have indeed been followed to their homes, harassed, stalked, intimidated, etc.
Hypocrisy and Scientology are conjoined twins.
