Hey, Mr. Spaceman: Tom Cruise believes in you.
Sending another message to media ground control, Major Tom announced this week that aliens exist.
"Are you really so arrogant as to believe we are alone in this universe?" the actor, who battles extraterrestrials in his new movie "War of the Worlds," told Germany's Bild magazine. "Millions of stars, and we're supposed to be the only living creatures? No, there are many things out there we just don't know."
Of course, aliens are an article of faith for Cruise and other Scientologists.
According to the doctrine concocted by sci-fi writer L. Ron Hubbard, intergalactic ruler Xenu banished a host of living beings to Earth (then called Teegeeack) millions of years ago to solve an overpopulation problem. Xenu placed the captive aliens in a volcano, then blew them up with hydrogen bombs - scattering their souls to infect humans with misery.
Fellow Scientologist Kelly Preston, for one, thinks it's great that Cruise is spreading Hubbard's beliefs.
"He's creating awareness," Mrs. John Travolta told Fox News yesterday. "Good for Tom Cruise for bringing it to the forefront."

Yes Cruise is spreading Hubbards beliefs. Because he is a "Star" he is given time on the major airways to give medical advice --I think this is outrageous. The Scientology cult are allowed to treat (Mis-treat) people because they sport a religous license. Easily come by --I have one -obtained just to show how really easy it can be done. In the Hubbard's cult you do need the money to purchase a black suit and a collar . As for Kelly Preston -I have read where their son is "autistic". I wonder what they have used to "treat" him. I doubt if they have ever gone beyond Hubbards crazy instructions to treat him -however I continue to hope that I am wrong. Every child has a right to be treated and not by some hokus pokus scheme.
And the sad truth re-Cruise and his recruiting --there are those that will fall for this scam--the cult is in need of suckers to sign the "billion year contract" as things are looking pretty seedy at their International Headquarters "Golden Era Productions " on Hgwy 79 in Hemet. Several of the top Sea Org members are doing their time at the RPF at the BigBlue in Hollywood. Gives DM some real cheap labor. No labor laws IF you sport that religous license. Sad but true.

Throughtout history it has been the inaction of those who could have acted, the indifference of those who should have known better, the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most, that has made it possible for Evil to Triumph." Haille Selassie
