On January 27 1987 the Church of Scientology of Toronto was served with a Notice of Dissolution by the Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Relations. Reference Number was 156253, which is the Co$ of Toronto Ontario Corporation Number.

It was subsequently revived once the Office of the Public Trustee decided not to take any steps to acquire possession of the assets of Co$ of Toronto. The Public Trustee wrote to Dan Crocini on Feb 13, 1987 and informed him the PublicTrustee had no objection to an Order being granted reviving the corporation of 156253 pursuant to the provisions of the Corporations Act, R.S.O 1980, Chapter 95, Section 317 (10).
