Scientology is taking full advantage of this tragedy to cash in and benefit, both by recruiting the vulnerable, shocked, unwary, and grieving, and also by soliciting funds from its members.
We have seen the posts sent out by Scientology urging members to dig deep for airfare and publishing costs.
We have seen them take advantage of a candlelight vigil in Nashville to recruit.
And today, Fox News was running the 1-800-FOR-TRUTH Dianetics number as a number one could call for mental health assistance! Thankfully, that number is no longer being aired, thanks to a vigilant critic callers.
That the cult seeks to benefit from this event by preying on people seeking help is unbelievably bad form! I wish the media would jump on this and do a story about the predators who lurk amongst us just waiting and drooling for something like this to happen so they can get their cut.
The San Diego org has a big flag in their window today, and a big poster stating "Mankind Needs a Hand Today" rather than the usual "Help Wanted"
sign. That they would be so cynical as to hang an American flag today is revolting; they are against most of what makes America the country that it is. It's bad enough that they wrap themselves in a cloaking device mimicking religion, should we mistake the cult for patriots as well?
EXPOSE SCIENTOLOGY'S LIES AND FRAUD!
