The other week I interviewed with a company that seemed normal on the surface. It turned out to be a Scientology scam, read background below.
My question is as follows. Is there a list of companies asssociated with LRH that one can avoid while searching for a job?
background:
They had me wait 50 minutes in the reception area where the only thing to read was Scientology literature. Even though it was Friday a young hindu kid came to work on his first day. A man came in and told him he can't start today as planned because his HI-B visa paperwork hasn't come in yet. Wow, that really knocks the daylights out of your confidence. Until you wonder, hey, wait a second, since when do people start their first day of work on Friday? It was all a show. Theater.
I was about 10 mintues short of leaving, gave them 1 hour, when the HR person asked me to come in. She had no idea which position I was interviewing for, but it didn't matter. First they have you take an IQ test, then a personality test, then they see if any of your skills match up with what the engineers are looking for. Super! Thanks dumb HR lady. You gave me the excuse for blowing this taco stand. I insisted on seeing the available job descriptions. HR lady rolled her eyes, made it obvious that I was making waves and not going with the game plan, but came up with some job reqs. I told her that I didn't think I was a match for any of them and therefore I do not feel it beneficial to take the tests. Then I hightailed it out of there ASAP without being rude. [END]

Some can be found here:

I also suggest that you enter the name of the company into google, together with "scientology" or with "ron hubbard".
