Others have made an attempt to have dialogue with Scientologists . I think you have mentioned the "sneer" before and I can well attest to seeing that in some of the plants put on me over the years. The "I know more than the smartest among you" came to my attention pronto.
One must face the fact that you are dealing with the True Believer who Hoeffer has outlined in his book. Zieglman and Conway outlined it in "Snapping".
Steven Kent has shown it in his many brilliantly written articles.
The fact that these Scientologist do not know about the "net nanny " is really sad.
I would hope all three (and possibly that fourth one?) would run to the library as soon as possible and type in Xenu.net or lermanet.com and see what the keeper of the netnanny hopes to keep hidden from them.
Thanks to you and Jeff and John for making yet another effort to enlighten the True Believers of the LRon scam.

That which promotes psychic health and the full vital aliveness of the mind deserves support. That which undermines such health --encouraging fixation, regression, perennial immaturity, and blockages of relationship between the individual and his environment--is suspect.

Its difficult to even find a footing for reasonable conversation when the totality of the Scientology spiel is a lie. There is so very little traction since there are too few (if any at all) points of agreement.
L Ron Hubbard found the lie very much to his liking.
A renown psychologist (I can't remember who) once said that the lie was a means to control others.
Its in the main a control mechanism.
Food for thought...
