Thanks, Tilman.
Sally Chaleff was a funny, bright, young woman. We spoke of some of her experiences on Broadway. She was married to Ira Chaleff when she and I were aboard the Apollo in 1971. She had joined the SO, and she had been told that she could continue with her career, and especially with her piano playing. She had upsets because she was not being allowed to do those things. I heard later that she and Ira had split up, and later yet I learned that she had died.
I was at the event Hana mentions in her Testimony. I saw her being followed, well, them being followed. Hana and Jerry, Mary and Frankie Freedman, Val and Fred Stansfield were all being 'tailed' night and day. Any lunches or coffees or other meetings were watched by OSA and/or PIs. Cameras. Recorders. These meetings were connected to the FAIR class action suit. The one that Hana here identifies as Stansfield vs Starkey.

At the time of her death, Sally was married to Mitch Esterman, who was a word clearer at ASHO Day. I liked Mitch a lot. In my opinion he was a very talented trumpet player. One story which sticks in my mind is about his playing trumpet as part of Paul Revere & The Raiders' backup band while on tour with them. Too bad all that musical talent went to waste after he joined the Sea Org. From talking to Mitch, his "purpose in life" was as a musician, and not a word clearer.

When I met Yvonne in October of 1975 she was the Commanding Officer of the Celebrity Center Los Angeles. I did my first Sea Org mission under her. We moved CCLA from its downtown location at 1809 West 8th Street to La Brea Avenue overnight. For our efforts we received a "very highly commended" from Yvonne. She promised us a steak and lobster dinner, but unfortunately she could never get financial planning approval on her "PO"
(purchase order) for the dinner.

Exactly. The state of "OT" is a delusion.
