The enclosed attachment is found in the definition of 'down stat', from what's laughingly called; the *modern management technical dictionary of scientology*; (bedrock reference of WISE). I'm posting this to *impinge* LRH's view of whom he considers the most loathsome creatures next to SPs; *Downstats*, which includes *all* forms of pts designations on 'down-stat' scientologists, (unless they can haul big bucks into the orgs after being designated, where all former 'designations' might be forgiven if they can).

Of course, the use of disheveled hair with brooding black eyes and unkempt beard is meant to convey in LRH terms what the universal 'enturbulated and ill' are supposed to look like, one for one with variations on that theme. Funny thing is, if you take away all scientology visual references (stat board; definition etc) surrounding that guy/jpg and just look at him 'as he is' with no LRH downstat associations; to me, he looks like a hard thinking artist or struggling writer type who's brooding over his art work in a SoHo/Greenwich village loft, or a sculpting genius doing the same. His look by itself with no definition reference is very Fountainhead-ish like actually ie, (the true artist/individual constantly battling the 'commercial' world for his art leaving no quarter for compromises no matter the financial pressures). But to LRH's eyes, this guy represents the universal embodiment of "enturbulated and ill" downstat creatures which he visually *impinges* on students so they can "be on the look-out" for similar type seedy 'characters' in the orgs, who are an inch away from Knowledge Reports if they get spotted and questioned.

To give 'in ethics' SO members a break here, I've added the definitions of *sea org member* and *sea org purpose* (below) for weighing what LRH thought of a 'down stat', versus his noble knights of the hubbard round table ie, 'in ethics' sea org members.

But to be fair, I'm allowing myself to be sec-checked in an ABS 'confessional' session first, which means 'confessing' on disheveled appearances Hubbard thought so reproachful, which is; my hair lengths even longer than Zinjifars, which must mean I'm even *more* downstat in the scientologic sense of down-stat 'appearances' than Zinjy. If Zinjifar wishes to flame war on this point feeling I'm trying to surreptitiously grab a down-stat crown of sorts, where he might feel worthy of that crown as hair-length exclusive, I'm ready for thread battle to see who's more down-stat, come what may.

Compare the difference between the brow-heavy intelligent look on that 'down-stat' guys face (by itself AS nothing else) versus ANY 'in-ethics' scientologist's TR-0 glare if you've ever seen it, and tell me which looks more *intelligent*, not necessarily 'glazed happy and content'.

Management definitions:

SEA ORG MEMBER:

Z; the above means that SO members needn't have done the OT levels in order to be considered OT, as being an 'up stat' sea org member makes them de facto OT by LRH 'definition'. ( A bull-shitting 'recruiter' device used by the SO to convince 'public' they'll *BE OT* if they simply join the sea org, without doing the OT levels first. Your gum-shoe z-blade reporter saw this ruse-ploy time and again for no doubts whatsoever :-)

FO= 'flag order' SEA ORG PURPOSE:

1. one with low, declining statistics. (HCO PL 31 Jan 69, Humanitarian Objective and Gung-Ho groups) 2. downstats are defined as ill or enturbulated persons. (SO ED 36 INT)

DOWN STATISTIC:

1. the purpose of the org is to get the show on the road and KEEP it going. Every division is a production unit. It makes or does something that can have a statistic to see if it goes up or down. Example: a typist gets out 500 letters in one week. That's a statistic. If the next week the same typist gets out 600 letters that's an up-statistic.

If the typist gets out 300 letters that's a DOWN STATISTIC. (HCO PL 1 Sept 65 7) 2. The current number is less than it was. (HCO PL 16 Dec 65) 3. that is to say the statistics went down. (SH Spec 62, 6506C25)
