I just saw Ed and Sally Lottick's pictures in the Pickets Photos.

It's been years since Dr. and Mrs. Lottick lost their son, Noah, to the evil practices of Scientology. They have been dedicated to the fight against scientology for at least ten years. I applaud their courage and fortitude in seeking justice not only for their son but for all the victims of scientology.

I met Dr. and Mrs. Lottick at the 1993 CAN conference in Minneapolis.

After the Okllahoma City bombing, COS came to Oklahoma disguised as a "Crisis Management Co." with no mention of scientology or Hubbard. A free lunch and seminar were offered at the Univ. of Central Okla. in Edmond, Okla. (a few miles from OKC).

Here are excerpts from a letter Dr. Lottick sent to Pres. George Nigh:

"My commiseration and even rage for the premeditated mass murder and mayhem in your area. I too know the pain of unexpected and unnecessary death."

As I think back over the final months of Noah's life, I have come to realize that he made only one mistake. That was calling the 800 telephone number in the back of a Dianetics book and attracting the attention of scientology. The rest followed as night follows day. He had no knowledge that he was getting involved with what I now realize was a death machine. Nor did we, his parents, his family, his neighbors, his teachers or his friends. And even when he was deeply troubled, we did not know where to turn. And he disappeared from us.

"We finally found Noah 31 days after his death in the morgue in New York City --- the very day his remains were to go to potter's field where we never would have found him or even surely known that he was dead."

Words can not express the deep respect I feel for these two wonderful people.
