Yes, the earliest I think I knew of Edgerly was in 1984 when the cult filed some document, it could have been a declaration by thoroughly depraved cult attorney John Peterson. Perhaps I can find it.
The cult got Edgerly to sign some sworn statement making absurd claims about Flynn, like he'd threatened to have Edgerly's children killed, and filed this in my case at the same time as they filed the Tamimi lies and the claim that Flynn was involved in the Hubbard check forgery.
If I'm recalling the filing by Scientology/Peterson correctly, Judge Breckenridge, still presiding over my case after the June 20, 1984 decison, took great offense at the black propaganda the cult was using his court room and my case for.
I went into, it could have been, Bridgewater Prison, in or near Boston, likely in 1986, with, I think it was, Mike Tabb, to take Edgerly's depo.
Mike Tabb, as in:
FLYNN, SHERIDAN, TABB & STILLMAN
P.O. Box 690
16903 Avenida de Acacias, Suite 5
Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067
Tel: (619) 759-7000

What the payoff was for Edgerly was not made clear. That Edgerly had lied for the cult in order to get Flynn for some payoff was clear.
That they paid known mobster George Kattar $33,000 around the same time to get Flynn is of course known. Tamimi was paid, of course, I think it was acknowledged, $25,000.
I will try to assemble something about the cult's Edgerly attack on Flynn.
