FACTNet (Fight Against Coercive Tactics Network) is looking for people who believe they have been subjected to Mind Control, Brainwashing, Thought Reform or any other forms of unethical mental persuasion.
Are you willing to be a "whistleblower"?
Are you ready to tell your story?
We believe that your efforts can force transparency on organisations that are psychologically coercive.
We have been inundated with requests to put up people's personal stories on the FACTNet website. But, alas, we do not have the resources to do this. At one point we were even considering charging people a token fee to create web pages for them so that they could get their stories out.
We then asked ourselves how we could create a powerful forum for people to speak freely and tell others their stories?
Our solution was to create a Discussion Board. This is the best way we could act as stewards for our donor contributions.
This will also enable FACTNet to grow the website with quality data that is useful to researchers, social workers, academics, journalists, de-programmers and exit-counsellors.
This will also allow people who are living in fear and uncertainty to find other people they can talk to.
We have set the Discussion Board so that it will be spidered and catalogued by search engines. This implies that whatever is written in the Discussion Board will untimately be able to be found via Google and other search engines.
If you belong to an organisation, or used to belong to an organisation, that you are afraid of then you may post your experiences anonymously.
If you have had personal experiences that you would like to tell the world about then we encourage you to post these experiences.
(This is your gift to others. Warning people about potential dangers is all that one can ask of you.)
If you know of someone that has had these experiences then encourage them to post their stories.
AND: Even if you have already told your story on another website, newsgroup or discussion board we still encourage you to tell your story on the FACTNet Discussion Board. The reason for this is simple. No-one knows which websites will stand the test of time. The more you replicate, on the internet, what you have to tell others, then the better your chances of having your story survive 50 years from now.
As of this date (3rd March 2002) the Discussion Board is completely empty. (Because no one has been told about it.)
This is like presenting a clean, fresh, canvas to an artist. Or running on the beach at sunrise before the crowds start gathering.
Enjoy!
The six broad main topics are:
1/ Religious Cults and Sects
2/ Corporations
3/ Social Organizations
4/ Governmental, Military or Terrorist Organisations
5/ Families
6/ Advertising and Marketing
Within these main topics you will be able to:
1/ create your own sub-topics (Conversations) or
2/ add postings to existing sub-topics. (Some sub-topics were created by us. These were based on requests we have received over the years.)
Your story can act as a warning to others.
