COMMENDATION Jens Billerbeck is highly commended for his assistance in achieving a real big win on the 4th Dynamic.

He readily participated by supplying valuable data about the discrimination Scientologists face in Germany, when seaking an occupation.

Therewith he was part of the first German Asylum Case. Asylum was granted by the U.S. Immigration Judge, Rex J. Ford, the first time in history to a German citizen.

This case therefore sets a precedent for future actions of all German Scientologists, to fight back against suppression.

Dear Mrs Victore, if I may state it bluntly, Mrs. Victore, you have a hard time if you try as a Scientologist to get any job in our area or Germany in common.

Chances are very rare that you can find an employment if you are known as a member of the Church of Scientology. Most employeers are not willing to stand the pressure they get or are by the negative propaganda against Scientologists so confused that I see about no chances to find a job if you are not able to hide perfectly your religion, which is quite hard if it is known that you are coming over from Clearwater, a place which is in Germany well known as a home of Scientology.

Also if you try to bypass that by founding your own company or business you have to be aware that the moment it gets known that you are a Scientologist you have to encounter heavy attacks in the media and the public in general. So also this way I regard as not succesfull especially when you start with a business, as even very established companies owned by Scientologists in Germany went bankrupt due to the heavy attacks of Anti-Scientology.movements in this country.

I am sorry that I cannot give better news, but I regard it the best that you are well orientated about the situation in Germany before you try to move over to here. I am sorry. But times have to change here.

As we have long term experience in placing qualified employees we are sorry to tell you that your connection to Scientology makes it impossible to help you.

At this time most companies have a clause in their employee contracts which asks if you are affiliated with Scientology. If you would say yes, the company would escort you politely out the door. If you would sign the contract saying you are not affiliated with Sciencology and later it would be found you were, then this would be grounds for immediate dismissel.

Just recently the Minister of Interior of the State of Bayern has set the regulation making it publicly known that a person who admits he/she is a Scientologist can recieve no State, educational or social employment.

Through this many companies are following suit.

Your only chance for employment at present would be to disban any connection to Scientology.

We are sorry to have to inform you of this and are returning with this letter your request for employment documents to you.

Dear Mrs. Victore, what I can see is, that you are an open practising Scientologist. You have to know in Germany the situation for a Scientologist is really hard.

Recently the government of Munich (M=FCnchen-Bayern) has ordered that no Scientoloaist can get a Job in all companies and institutions under public law. There is now a standig order. The rule is, that all people looking for a job have to fill out a form with questions like =91are you a member of any Scientology organisation or -group or church=92. The answer has to be NO, this is a requirement for appointment.

Under this order I cannot employ you, I would risk a loss of business and a lot of discrimination. Sorry for this negative message.

The most of the German Scientologist do not practising open Scientology and at ones work-place nobody knows that this person is a Scientologist otherwise this person would be fired. This possibility isn't working for you, because you were living in Clearwater - a mainplace for Scientology in US - and nobody would believe you that you are not in contact with the Scientology-Organisation. Sorry!

In Germany, we have a lot of Scientologist without work, and for practising Scientologist it would be very hard to live here in Germany in your normal way of live. The defence of the constiutuion will keep under surveillance all Scientologist in Germany.
