Followup with your own Eugene Ingram story. This one was at our 1st or 2nd L.A. picket, maybe 1999. We were all going to stay at the same hotel. Before we went there I faxed the manager a photo of Eugene Ingram and a note saying he had a warrant for his arrest out of Florida. I figured if anyone would run an op on us in LA it would be Ingram. When I got to the hotel, she told me that the man in that photo had come to her saying he was an LA cop and was investigating us picketers for a bombing or possible future bombing. The next time he contacted her she told him about the photo and warrant. According to her, he STILL tried to keep the scam going, telling her not to mess up the investigation! Anyway, we all had a nice time, except maybe Ingram. We called the LAPD but they seemed to have no interest in someone impersonating an officer.
I think this was also the year that a young guy named Jason mysteriously joined our protest. He seemed like an ok guy but Tilman insisted that we look into him. So one morning I asked to see his drivers license. He reached for his pocket and said oh, it must be in the room still. So he came out of the room a bit later and said he must have lost it. We said boy, it's a good thing we had you look or you woulnd't have known it was missing! We treated him just like one of us, even though I heard through the grapevine that this was Ingram's son. I don't think he got much intel off us anyway, before he snuck a block away from the hotel and got into a car that drove up. Anybody have a photo of him?

That was 1998. And 'Jason' went on to post to ARS following the picket
and was for a while a bit of a bone of contention, as such people
usually are.
I'm not sure if GoogleGroups has records of his posts, but archival minded critics like Sten probably do.
Interestingly, ARS has been visited intermittedly over the past couple of years by someone who appeared to be 'Clean Gene's' son, posting information on court cases related to Gene's court spousal abuse and divorce. I don't remember whether he posted as Jason, but it wouldn't surprise me.
If the two 'Jasons' are the same person, it would support the orignal Jason's claims 'not to be OSA', since he would just be a son 'doing dad a favor', however unsavory.
If that's the case; hi Jason :)
All is forgiven. Welcome to the club.

I remember this :) His story at the party made me suspicious. I won't tell WHAT, obviously.
There were other weird infiltrations... like when David Lebeau joined us in the hotel bar with another weird story. I thought the guy was mentally ill. Funny thing is that he insisted to be photographed with me.

Resistance is futile. You will be enturbulated. Xenu always prevails.
