Scientology is a scam for fleecing chumps of their money. Maybe we should isolate what makes Scientology so effective at finding these chumps and fleecing them. And maybe there are better ways that Scientology could do it once isoloted. Also there might be a possibility of designing a new cult along these lines. This is a draft version as my thoughts develop.

1) What you are looking for is someone who is gullible. In the case of Scientology then we have a system of self-improvement created by a science-fiction writer. Anyone who comes through the door is gullible and is a potential victim.

2) They might not be very gullible. They could purely be curious and a bit of a rebel wanting to try out something that others disapprove of.

To find out how gullible they are then you see if you can get them to do something a little stupid without their having any resistance to it. The comms course is great for this because a person will be told that in order to communicate better with a person they have to learn to stare at them. In this case we have got them doing something stupid and getting no resistance from it. This is a win over controlling that person as well as confirmation that they are indeed gullible. And a bit of hypnosis enters as well, hopefully, to make that person easier to control. Add to that getting them to ask questions like "Do birds fly?", "Do fish swim?" and you know what you have their is a gullible fool.

3) So the person finishes the comms course and since it was an ordeal they feel elated and so you use this to praise him in front of the group and the group applauds him and he feels more of a member and so this is the time to hard-sell another course. TRs and Objectives.

4) With TRs and Objectives you get the person to scream at an ashtray with the idea that it will lift up because of it. You get them to scream really loud as well. If you can get a person to do this then you are well on the way to controlling them because it is so clearly absurd. You also get them to do meaningless things like stopping things from going away and they even think that they have used their own mental powers to achieve that even though it may be something fixed and solid like a wall. You arrange it so that this controlling of them appears to the chump that is *they* who are doing the controlling. This is a very important point and is the foundation for more control. Again, in controlling that person you have to trick them into thinking that it is *they* who are doing the controlling. That is why you have stupid things like "Start, Change, Stop". You get them to do these stupid things and they get used to doing whatever you tell them to and yet they are convinced that they can "start, change and stop" things in their universes more effectively as a result of doing it.

5) At some point you have to wash away all their accumulated methods of thinking and habitual ways of acting because you want to superimpose a robotic structure on the person so that they always do exactly what you tell them to. To this end, the best way is to flush out everything they have learned with a massive amount of instructions an how to do everything under the sun. So you write "policy letters" and "technical bulletins" in their thousands that they have got to learn. You swamp them with it and keep them tired. You push them into "applying" it and when not properly applied you get them to read more and more of these things and test them on it and retread them on it. You are, of course, giving them a complete mind-wipe so you have to convince them they are becoming "more able" or some such similar thing all the while. And when these things he is reading appear not to work then they have to be convinced that they must understand it better and learn more of them.

You have got to keep them at it and keep them tired.

6) If you are trying to gain control over people then you might want them to commit an illegal act for you and to punish those who are opposing you or something like that. But right from early childhood, people have had a sense of what is right and wrong drilled into them and this could kick in and they might object to your command at some time.

They way to get rid of this mechanism is to completely redefine moral right and wrong. Make it complicated like redefine it as ethics and then redefine what ethics means and screw around with it completely such that what the person ends up thinking as right and wrong is what you tell them. The Scientology Ethics does a wonderful job of this and even gets away with redefing ethics in terms of production. So you now have the person being mind-wiped working even harder to be "ethically" more productive while their normal sense of morals has been effectively removed.

7) Having got this far you are already in control of the person. You just need to pull a few little tricks to make that person your complete slave. You need to break their links with the normal world so that they can be exchanged for links to the group you are setting up to serve you.

To do this and also to circumvent the possibility that any negative information on what you are trying to do will get to them then you have got to knock out newspapers and television, making out there is a conspiracy going on to lie to people. So they stop reading newspapers and they stop watching television which further cuts them off from society and they think that they are being fed less lies when of course they are being lied to and tricked all the while.

8) If you are this much in control of a person then it is worth taking a pot-shot at separating them from their family. Since it is "love" that binds this together and that is very strong then this "love" must not exist in the new system you are replacing their thinking with.

Scientology does this very well. You have ARC which is a piece of techno-babble that even dilutes "friendship" and there is no mention of "love" anywhere else. The person you are controlling has no way to relate to it any more.

9) The "religion" angle must be used for a few reasons. Since you are effectively brainwashing a person and this will be obvious to any outside law-enforcement agencies who are studying what you are doing then by calling it a "religion" and your processess "religious practice"

and that to stop you from doing it as "religious intollerance" then it gives you a great deal of protection. Also, you do not need to be "licensed" in carrying out these possible dangerous techniques so you are out of state or government control. Also, any donations you get in can be tax exempt so in effect the government is paying you to do this.

Add to that the recognition that being tax-exempt brings with it in the sense of it be an officially sanctioned organisation. But these are just minor compared to what you want to do with a person. You want to take off them every penny they can possibly get hold of and when that is gone take their lives in terms of service to you while they can still stand and be of use. And if you want them to take the rap for what you are doing to them then you have to be sure this person will commit suicide if you ask them and leave a note blaming themselves for many things so as to escape prosecution. Now in order to do this your system must offer them something worth more than their lives and their fortunes. Much more. Scientology is very good in this regard because it promises them eternal life as a free and powerful "thetan".

10) You can enhance the effectiveness of these mind-wipe processes by equating their more pronounced effects with high standing within the group. So the people it affects the most and who attest to it are therefore more moral or higher contributors to the group. Not only will this boost the effectiveness through expectation but it will also result in a person feeling guilty if it seems less effective on them. They will feel less worthwhile members of the group. And if it is harming them they will end up feeling like they are criminals and will even accept penalties and punishments imposed on them through not changing fast enough or suchlike.

11) To extract maximum money from a person all the while then you have got to make the whole thing very expensive. You can have an inexpensive entry into the thing but it has to be made expensive after that. What you are trying to do is to extract all that person's money and enslave them. You are not trying to deliver what is promised. So you set the cost of these processes so that only the very rich can get to the top.

And as for the poorer members then after you have taken their money you can enslave them as staff members by promising that if they work hard for you then they will get to the top as well. So when you take them on as staff members then since you intend to work the person to near death you have to make sure they can't leave. So to achieve this you give them expensive training courses on staff telling them that only if they are properly trained will they be effective and successful and therefore qualify to receive advancement. But the whole point of giving them training is to financially ensnare them so that they understand that they have to pay back all the money for training if they quit their post. So they get their training as staff members that are paid almost nothing and then they owe YOU a large amount of money. This allows you to pressure them to work ever harder and bully them. Even punish them.

They are never likely to leave since you have already alienated them from outside society and even gotten them to believe outside society is evil in some way.

12) You need your own version of morals or ethics to punish doubters.

You also need to isolate them from the other members in case some form of disaffection spreads or in case some of the members start to question what they themselves are doing. Scientology does this admirably with its "Conditions" formula. The idea is you make them atone for trying to break free to even the slightest degree or even think about their doing so. You do not want them to even harbour thoughts of this and you need a way to find out their thoughts on this. So confessionals are a good idea and "security checks" to find out about these thoughts. Yoou also need to keep track on who might try to break free at some stage. It might be an idea to move them to a position where they are doing more manual types of tasks if this is the case to that theri thought do not get transmitted to others in the course of their duties. You need the members themselves to police each other and spy on each other because only in this way can you be sure of detecting any growing opposition.

The "Knowledge Report" system in Scientology is perfect for this.

13) At some stage you are going to lose a few members. Some will crack.

Some may oneday realise what you have done to them and attempt to go to the authorities. The best way to stop that happening is to use blackmail on a person. Scientology does this best of all. They encourage people to confess their misdeeds and bizarre thoughts and they write them all down. It can all be used to silence them if they leave. The more of the dark side of what you are doing gets exposed to them then the more blackmail you need on them. So you need different layers of public and staff with different degrees of blackmail material. As for the paying public, they do not see the darker side of things so all you need are their confessional notes to keep them silent. If you have given them some very expensive "secrets" then they could undermine your system so you have to make sure you have extra blackmail material on them before you give them these secrets. Also you could get them to sign a contract such that they get sued if they discuss these secrets. Scientology does both of these things with the "OT levels". The security checking of a person before they do these OT levels involves getting them to confess every single sexual feeling and act they have done in extreme detail.

This can be used to silence them and if it ever got to court then the persons reputation can be demolished in front of a jury. As for staff members, then you just increase the amount of "security checking" above that of the paying public. And as for the elite staff members then you simply use the same method of getting their entire history of sexual experiences as done for the people before they took their "OT levels".

14) With the handling of "Knowledge Reports" you already have a rudimentary Intelligence Service. This can be built on such that you closely watch those you have doubts on as to their loyalty. You can use this system go get other people to become friends of these people and find out more about what they feel. Then you can expel these people fro m your organisation. You want them to be hated so yu interrogate them and make their lives hell but you don't let them go until they have confessed to a crime that the others will hate them for. This is exactly what they do to their elite "Sea Org" members. But this in an intelligence system rooted within the organisation. You need a better system for handling trouble outside the organisation.

15) Some people are going to become disaffected and leave. And when they come to their senses and regain what was theirs before you got them then they might get angry. They want to make trouble for you. But they will have lost all their money and the best years of their life and will be keen to recapture something of what was taken from them. They will have to work hard at it. So their lives will be difficult. And if they try to make life difficult for their organisation then you can make life difficult for them. It is very easy to play tricks on a person such that they lose their job. You have got to cause them more trouble them they can cause you and then they will stop. So you picket their workplace and accuse the firm they work for of supporting religious intollerance. You also threaten the firm with legal action. If the person hasn't been working for that company for long then this will probably be enough to get them the sack. Once should be enough. But how do you set up an organisation to do this? Structurally it is better if it appears they are acting independently so that your organisation never takes the rap.

Also, you want organisation and policy but you don't want the source of this being labelled as having been authored by your own organisation. At some point in time this will backfire but you don't want the blowback to get as far as you so you keep this group seemingly independent. This was done admirably in Scientology using the GO. It did backfire and the GO members did take the rap. But now we have OSA that is doing the same thing but under the control of the management of the organisation. This is not a good idea. The best thing to do here is split off oSA and allow it to run seemingly independently. Also it would be better if they hired PIs to in turn hore PIs to in turn hire helpers and such like so that the responsibility for these actions gets lost in the chain. That way you can have peoples tires slashed, causing them to have blowouts at high speed and you can have them followed home and beaten up and nobody knows who is exactly responsible. And if it even comes near you then yu throw up your hands in horror and utterly condemn it all. But this ia a dangerous game. The best thing to do would be to get information on people high up in law enforcement and government. Blackmail information that you could use at any time. That way you will not get investigated because the investigator will fear that you have information on their boss or their bosses boss and if they attack your organisation they will be removed from post and possibly sacked.

16) At some stage you are going to get taken to court so it is wise to have a legal dream team to serve you and pay them a retainer to ensure their loyalty. But that is not enough. You need to be tried by a judge you know is on your side. This is simple enough. You get blackmail information on enough judges and remove those in your way until you end up with the judge you want. If a judge is hostile then you send someone round to drown their dog or threaten their frail old mother or what have you to the point where they have to tell the court this is happening and then they get recused because they can no longer be expected to be unbiased. You keep doing this until you get the judge you want. Then you will get a a "legal victory" which you can tell the world about such that people are less likely to take you to court in the future.

17) There is no limit on who you could gather information on. You shouldn't stop at judges and law enforcement. You could get information on politicians and even help politicians get dirt on other politicians.

The aim being to help a politician get into power who will then change laws in your favour and give your organisation greater influence. And if that politician gets to the top then if they say your organisation os great and it has helped them in life then not only will you get a huge boost in that coutry but in the rest of the world as well. To achieve these ends you need to set up firms that advise politicians. Spin doctors. But keep the connection invisible until you have achieved your goals.

18) Back to the membership. You need something to handle a situation when a well-off public member cracks up or sees through what you are doing to them. Kicking them out and causing trouble for them when they are out os one thing but what do you tell the other members who knew this person. If they are a public member you can't keep them and interrogate them until they have confessed to crimes like you can do with your own staff members. You havbe got to find a "reason" why they are doing this. Scientology has this situation handled very well. The person is labelled "PTS" and it is not their fault but rather they are connected to a bad person who has resulted in them acting strangely. So you bar the person from the organisation and let all branches know that they can come back once their PTS situation has been handled. Of course, in reality, you have kicked them out but at least it keeps the membership happy and continuing to hand over their money.

19) You wil get attacks on your organisation but this can be turned to your advantage when it comes to fleecing the chumps. You explain that they are under attack and that they need to donate huge amounts of money to a "war chest" to help your organisation fight to remain alive.

Otherwise the aspirations of the chump will all be wiped out with your organisation. Scientology has a perfect system going with the IAS. The more they are attacked, the more money they get from their members.

20) Offshore Trusts are the best way to keep money unaccountable. Any donation given to these offshore trust will be tax free and then it is impossible to track what happens to this money if you keep your records badly enough. This allows you to channel money in the direction of many dirty and undercover organisations. These can even be used to purchase firearms if you feel they would come in useful and perhaps even a nuclear or germ warfare capability.

HOW SCIENTOLOGY COULD BE MADE MORE EFFECTIVE
============================================ (My thoughts on this will develop gradually) 1) If you are going to play dirty tricks then you need to keep your hands clean at the same time. You need a group to blame for these dirty tricks when discovered and you need to roundly comdemn them. The system with GO being independent was far better than the system they have now got with OSA. They should split off OSA and make it another GO. Whatever money they need can be gotten from the Offshore Trust and laundered through existing Scientology tax-exempt charities. They need money because it is best if the dirty tricks get contracted and subcontracted out such that the responsibility for these actions can be condemned by OSA itself. Each level with want their cut but it is worth it. You don't want dirt flying in the direction of Scientology because this reduces your income through the bad PR.

2) There is no need to break into government offices when you can have one or two of your members working there and just keeping their ears open. You do not need details on what they have against you. You need rather know the strength or commitment of the opposition. It is much better to have sleepers doing that.

3) The subversion of judges should continue. This is a very good idea.

In any field where they are likely to get taken to court they need blackmail information on at least 50% of the judges. The others they can get recused through threats. This should be expanded until the 50% level is reached.

4) No expense should be spared on setting up firms that do spin-doctoring for influential politicians. They need to collect information on politicians in a big way.

5) They need blackmail information on people high up in society so that no organisation would dare investigate them for fear that they have dirt on their bosses in any case.

6) PR should be handled. Not neccessarily by cleaning up its act.

Threats will do nicely. Once this has been done then it is time to get more people joining. But the PR situation must be thoroughly handled first.

------------------------ ONCE PR IS HANDLED ----------------------- 7) It would be a good idea to get Scientologists out into the community applying the tech. The whole idea is that if they are doing a good job and meeting people then they can get more potential recruits back to their orgs. Like I explained before. If anyone comes to an organisation set up by a science-fiction writer to improve the lot of mankind then that person is a mug as soon as they walk through the door. Sunday services are a great idea since they contain a bit of group processing.

What they need are a few sharp staff members to spot which of those new entrants seem to be getting something out of it and concentrate on them.

These will be your future staff members, maybe. What you really need are the people with large disposable incomes, though. More on that later. So I would propose that the grade processes be changed. Instead of the "Expanded Grades" they should be shortened and a practical element involved in applying it. That way not only have you "proved" that it works but you have got the person out in the community to meet people and those people can see that "Scientology is helping them". The grades would have to be changed such that they were based on "release points"

and the person had to go out and prove that they were more able in that direction by achieving something that not only they had not achieved before but would be seen as good by anyones standards. This could talke both a long time and be expensive as well as you "handled" all the instances when things weren't going well enough.

8) You need to get to the people with high disposable incomes. Many of these will be technical people and these people often need training or retraining. So it might be a good idea to set a a few Scientology owned traing schools that do an effective job in training people in new skills. That way you can get these people interested in who you are and into the orgs and hopefully signed up on their first course.

9) They really need to make those books cheaper. You *want* the chump's mind-wipe to be as thorough as possible so you *want* to flood his brain with nonsense information. The current pricing method is such that many wannabe Scientologists cannot even afford to buy their own books. They should be made much cheaper and the people pressured into doing a lot of Scientology logy reading.

10) Much more mind control is needed on the OT levels. At the moment they are mainly based around fleecing the marks after getting them to believe they are infested with dead space-aliens and then bullying them to pay more and more. This is not really mind control. It is bullying.

It is much better if you can get a person to believe he is seeing scenes from another planet and has therefore become part immortal. You could spend ages on this with courses on how to imagine things like that and see them for real. This is limited only by the imagination. The old OT levels were better in this regard because they encouraged to marks to delude themselves but they were not properly fleshed out. I think it is about time someone "discovered" a huge cahe of original LRH OT materials and kicked out a few squirrels for being respnnsible for the current OT levels. Sure, one of the reasons you can't do these things might be because you are infested with dead space-aliens but keep that as a long and expensive repair action. These essence of the OT levels should be to make the mark totally deluded and seeing things that aren't there at your command. If you can do that then they will believe you totally when you say you can give them their "Total Freedom".
