Here is a story that you'll all love...I also posted it to the Freezone...
I decided to leave the "church" around January of this year...
Needless to say, when I told my best "friend" (a Scientologist) that I could no longer be a part of this group, she and her husband disconnected from my husband and myself. This left a great void in my life because we did many things together, even vacations.
Well, about 5 months have passed with no contact from this "friend". And I admit, I've been missing her. September happens to be her birthday month and we always did something fun for it!
So, I decided to send her a bouquet of flowers thinking that maybe the time that has passed has allowed her to not be as "flipped out" over my leaving the "church". How wrong I was...
The flowers were delivered to her house, and that same evening my husband arrived home late after a dinner meeting and found that bouquet of flowers next to our trashcans at the back of our house. When I saw those flowers, I felt sick.
And these people think they are spiritually free? I would say they are anything but...Pretty scary, isn't it?
