I was sitting at home on Saturday when I noticed police cars pulling into a nearby parking lot. They began questioning a guy sitting in a car. When he got out, I recognized him as Tim Lomas, DSA of the Philadelphia org. He eventually pulled out of the lot, so I went out to ask the cops what was going on. They confirmed his identity, said they had run his name and he had no outstanding warrants, so they asked him to leave private property.

Apparently one of my neighbors noticed him sitting there for an over-long amount of time and got suspicious.

Tim then walked back into the parking lot and served me some silly papers and a videotape. Apparently they think I loitered while I was taking pictures on Watterson St. in Clearwater. But what was interesting was the piece of paper Tim didn't intend to give me. It's a page of notes with names and phone numbers. I find it interesting how many Scientologists they have on this detail.

On Sunday I got a call from a pizza delivery place. They had my name, address, and a pizza. _Very_ mature. I guess Tim didn't like being kicked off private property. Don't worry, Tim. I won't victimize any pizza shops near your apartment or the org.

So I forgive Tim Lomas for his little trick. I'm sure he's capable of much more than phony pizza delivery. Before he died, Tim's dad told me how sad he was that Tim has wasted 10 years of his life in Scientology. It's a large family, but he thought Tim was one of the brightest and most promising of his children.
