Robert, Every post you write brings me closer to becoming an active critic of Scientology.

By using the term 'atheist' as a pejorative you're displaying the very
bigotry you're accusing Mr. Rice of. By using the term 'skeptic' as a
pejorative you're displaying a blanket contempt for critical analysis. In
tandem, they make you a mindless bigot.
If you're going to use facile generalizations to launch clumsy ad hominem attacks be prepared to have them thrown right back at you.

Robert, have you ever been a member of the National Socialist German
Workers' Party in Germany? Have you ever had contact with the Nazi Party?
Have you ever taken part in an event sponsored by the Nazi party?
If you answer no to all three questions, according to your own standards, you can not intelligently analyze the Nazi Party or form a meaningful conclusion about the Nazi Party.
Robert, what is your opinion of the Nazi Party? Before you answer look up the term 'hypocrite' in a dictionary.
>a) On July 29, 1999 he exhorted Bob Minton to exercise less restraint.
>Minton has twice been arrested for assaulting Scientologists and has
>shot at Scientologists in his neighborhood with a shotgun. Rice wrote
>about Minton: "I would hope he kills the criminals rather than exhibit
>the restraint and understanding he has so far. I will reload for him
>any time."
Once you've finished studying the term 'hypocrite' point your dictionary at
the term 'lie'. Mr. Minton did not shoot at Scientologists. If he had, is
there any doubt in your mind that he would be in jail right now facing
charges for attempted murder? You know this yet you lie outright in order to
smear your perceived enemies. Ultimately you only undermine your own
credibility because the public record is so clear cut on the matter.
>b) Rice posted a call on the Internet for private, personal information
>about a Los Angeles attorney, specifically asking for the name of his
>wife and that "if he has or had any daughters, I need to know what
>their names are."
I agree that Mr. Rice shouldn't resort to cowardly intimidation tactics. If
your claims are true, he was wrong. The simple truth clearly presented
without any doctoring is the only noble weapon regardless of the urgency. Do
you agree?
>Fredric Rice does not confine his anti-religious sentiments to
>Scientology. In his own words, "Christianity is founded upon
>resentment and fear, gullibility, wishful thinking, indoctrination and
>greed." He refers to Christianity as a "historically evil cult" and
>talks about Christianity's "shoddy ethics" and "immoral nature." He
>states that he "learned the history of the Christian cult in High
>School" and calls Christian doctrine "unworthy of respect, let alone
>worship." He continues by claiming that the Jewish Talmud and Toldoth,
>as well as the Islamic Koran "were no better."
This of course is a standard ploy. By showing Mr. Rice has contempt for
mainstream religions you are seeking to portray him as a common enemy in
order to build an alliance with mainstream theists. The true motive is to
gain their fire power to use against your enemy and mainstream credibility
by mingling with their ranks.
Clever, but there is a hairline crack on one front. L. Ron Hubbard claimed Jesus never existed among other interesting things. Ask a Christian for their impression of this claim. Or simply let Mr. Rice ask them for you. You both have your hand in the cookie jar and it's comic for you to say, "Look at Fred! He's stealing cookies! Punish him!"
>On his website he proclaims that he found that Nazism and Christianity
>were "virtually indistinguishable. They both have their prophet,
>Christ and Hitler. They both have their scapegoats -- homosexuals and
>the jews.... They both preach hatred of a minority" ... "Sieg Heil."
If true, they're facile conclusions meant to generate an emotional
reaction. That's my opinion and it stands without malice.
>Rice cynically refers to himself an "ordained reverend,... ordained by
>the Universal Life Church" (ULC). Should this sound strange to anyone,
>here is more about the ULC (quoted from its web page): "The Universal
>Life Church has no traditional doctrine... Each individual has the
>privilege and the responsibility to determine what is right for them --
>as long as it does not impinge upon the rights of others... We are
>active advocates and staunch defenders of the First Amendment of the
>Constitution of the United States of America..." Wouldn't it behoove
>Rice at least to stick to the precepts of the church he claims ordained
>him?
Please cite the personal rights Mr. Rice has broken and the evidence in
support of your claim. If you don't, it's yet another empty attack.
Let's reverse it just for fun.
You're a fascist sycophant who worships the prattle of a hair brained hack sci-fi writer who's sadistic insecurities were only matched by his inept narcissism. Truly look at L. Ron Hubbard. It's like Cliff Claven cast as Caligula. Scientology could mass execute people and part of me would still think it's high camp because the entire genesis of Scientology is so comic.
He was a fat, lumpy, hack sci-fi writer for God's sake. You weren't suppose to take him serious, he just wanted to play Ron the Red to make himself feel better. He's dead now. Charity is no longer required. Go home and eat something. If you want enlightenment put away the Commander Van Allen Teaches Abreaction Therapy, stop acting like an angry wind-up toy, and create something truly your own. That would be you. Yes, you. No great man or woman ever cribbed enlightenment.
There you go.
>Skeptic? Naw, just another cynic.
>Robert
I'll sit on the barrel instead of wearing it, if you don't mind.
