"Initiative for the project was taken by youths who themselves have left an Isolated Religious Community. Although their freedom was a relief, they soon found that they were not equipped with the knowledge that was needed to orientate oneself in society. They struggled with identity crisis and were understandably angry and confused.They decided that they would like others to avoid going through the same.

"Their goal is for persons who find themselves in a similar situation: to have an easier transition to life as an independent individual in society."

The Norwegian Department of Church, Education and Research finances the project.
