THE COURT: I don't understand a thing he just said, but I did hear the word "judge," and that always concerns me. What are you talking about?
MR. DANDAR: Tell her --
THE WITNESS: He asked me about what -- how they would use intelligence-gathering, the church.
MR. WEINBERG: This is the Guardians -- I mean, I just want to make sure --
THE COURT: Right.
MR. WEINBERG: -- they're talking about the Guardian's Office --
THE WITNESS: Right.
MR. WEINBERG: -- that was disbanded.
THE WITNESS: I wasn't there when OSA really became OSA. But the Guardian's Office would find information on people who were in a position to do harm to the church and -- and blackmail them.
THE COURT: Such as lawyers and judges, you specifically mentioned.
THE WITNESS: As an example. I didn't -- just -- they didn't just aim at lawyers and judges. I mean, it was politicians -- I believe the mayor of Clearwater, Gabe Cazares, was an example.

Q Any judges?
A Yeah. There were a few.
Q Any lawyers?
A Yes.
Q How would they attack a lawyer?
A Well, you know, it was sort of no-holds-barred, because --
MR. DANDAR: Could I have Mr. Weinberg's silence, please? It's really disturbing.
MR. WEINBERG: Well, then I'll get up and object. Because this is disgusting, is all I can say.
