Someone called my house yesterday identifying himself as a private investigator. He was investigating internet postings.
I asked who he was working for and he would only imply an LA lawyer. I did indicate that I would be happy to speak directly to whoever he was working for.
He mentioned that they were looking for someone and that I was on some kind of short list. He mentioned that "they" were considering some kind of legal action.
Legal action against what? I thought. He said I might be contacted again, but would not leave his phone number or the name and number of those who he was working for..
Would this be considered as harassment? This is something those lawyers should consider.
Anyhow, for now, I would like to state for the record that I may have personal views about Scientology, but do not in any way advocate anything illegal or suggest that anyone else engage in anything illegal.
I believe in freedom of speech and freedom of religion.
This naturally includes the right of individuals to practice Scientology or not practice scientology in any form they choose.
As a public forum, we all have a right to speak here and if the Scientology organization has an opposing view, they are welcome to discuss it here.
I am always open to communication and wish that the same could be said about many within Scientology today.
In fact, I tried to communicate directly to many within Scientology for years only to be ignored, or given the run-around on many well documented occasions.
I am still willing to communicate directly to anyone
in the Scientology organization. So if there is anything
that needs to be said, they can always contact me directly.
