Last spring I wrote you to investigate and follow up on a rather disturbing incident that happened to me in Madisonville in September of 2000. As previously explained, I was let out of the Hopkins County Jail in an orange jump suit with "Christian Co. Prisoner"

emblazoned on the front and sides. If you recall I was let go because insufficient evidenced, but only after being convicted and sentenced to 5 years and having been incarcerated for 35 days. Additionally I did not have any money or any I.D. when I was let out. I had to find my way to a telephone to call for help. As you can imagine, I felt terrified I was going to be re-arrested (or possibly shot) as an escapee by the local town or county authorities.

I first wrote to the acting Lieutenant of the jail inquiring of this act, along with a request to return a book of mine that was confiscated - "A Piece of Blue Sky" by Jon Atack. After a few weeks with no reply, I wrote to the Jailer - Mr.

Waltrip is it? After a few more weeks with no reply from him, I wrote to you. I have never heard back from you on either matter of investigating this incident or finding the missing book. Also please note, 4 days later when I returned to the State contracted Christian Co. Prison to collect my personal effects so I could get back home to Massachusetts quickly, they re-arrested me with the explanation of "that the Hopkins County Jail did not fill out, nor file the proper paperwork for Frankfort." I was detained there for a good part of day until that matter was cleared up.

The week before last, I was talking with Linda Almeida, a probation officer here in the Massachusetts. She reported to me that you call her every month on updates re: me. So I must assume you ARE interested in me and any problems in my life. Accordingly, once again, PLEASE investigate this incidence in detail and get back to with your findings as to why this happened. Perhaps maybe even an apology assuming this was just an anomaly rather than a deliberate act to purposely cause me grief or hardship. I only suggest the later, because the complaining witness in Case # 98-CR-067 is a member of an alternative mental sect that is REQUIRED to "use the law to harass, ruin, and cause possible deceasement" against those who have opposing viewpoints and opinions. I am certain you will want to assist me to make sure this isn't being covertly applied in Mad'ville.
