I have both an admission to make and a question to ask here at ARS that I admit is self serving but I'll give it a shot; in that since 1978, when I finished the 'Old' OT 7 'Bridge'....(Yuck,, I hate calling it that even after all these years); 3 weeks after attesting to full OT 7, I was rushed to the U.C.L.A. emergency center hospital for what I thought was definitely a major coronary episode or heart attack of some kind. Before doing the OT levels in 1978, I was 26 years old and in PERFECT health with no family or otherwise history of coronary problems, or medical problems in general. I was a work horse of youthful health before I started the OT levels. Of course, after leaving the hospital after an evaluation of P.A.T. or 'pulmonary arterial thrombosis', I rushed to A.O.L.A. in Los Angeles where I got the usual 'out-ethics' run-around as a last resort for them when they can't figure out that it's actually their scientology 'OT' cult mind programming en masse that creates these problems in the first place. As a side note; before leaving the hospital after that episode, the doctor in charge handed me a card of a psychiatrist and said.."I think you might need this". What his thinking on that was I didn't ask, but he obviously noticed something from my behavior outside of what I thought was the medical issue in question. Anyway, to try to make this as short as possible to get your feedback, 'NOTS' had just come out after this episode of mine, where the reges as A.O.,, Fred and Gretchen $hwartz, were more than happy to give me the,,"You better get this rundown now or who knows what might happen?" rap.
The line, " Obviously there's more case", was all I needed to hear for another series of 'heart attack' episodes, since I was at that point locked into the 'OT' cult mind programming trap. This tactic of fear to basically imply that I might drop dead from a heart attack if I didn't get the new NOTS run down was the nightmare of my life. The content of the movie 'The Exorcist' was child's play compared to my new found Hell I found myself in.
For sure, I thought I would be dead in days or a few weeks if I didn't get this rundown because of continual chest pains and racing heart episodes. And sure enough, from this fear, they cleaned out my savings account. Cest La Vie Bank of America. Of course, after doing their 'NOTS' and later going on to 'Solo Nots' for hundreds of hours as one of the first people to start that level, I still always walked around with chest pains of some kind and thought it was just a matter of time before I dropped dead on the street. I remember at age 27, looking at acrobats trampoleaning in circles at a fair, saying to myself in dread, "I used to be physically strong like that; ----no more". Anyway, after 10 more years of this 'chest' problem, and leaving $CN in 1984 for good,, I basically recovered from this chest pain problem the more I kept investigating about cult mind programming and the real $CN in general. I don't need to bother you with those details other than to say it was a wonderful journey of discovery of the Massive Con, cult programming procedures and the sheer evil of the final results of doing the 'OT' levels.
I still want to shake Steven Hassans hand for his book "Combating Cult Mind
Control". He's a real friend even though I've never met him. My question for
those who are interested, as I've never had it answered after all these
years since I kept my 'case' quiet from other scientologists,(To stay out of
ethics-yuck!..I was so naive), is;;;; Have you any detailed information
regarding people who have done part, or all of the 'OT' levels through the
years who generally had these Heart Attack symptoms or maybe even dropped
dead of a heart attack during or after doing the 'OT' levels? I know
answering this accurately is tough in many ways because the critics of any
answer here given could say, "It could have been from something else", " It
must have been a family genetic problem to begin with", "He smoked", or "He
was screwing his girlfriend and had a Heart Attack" etc...The critics could
splatter this all over the place. What I need here is "do you know of a
general pattern of otherwise healthy people, who during or after doing their
OT levels had heart problems or heart like symptoms that created great
anxiety for them by the numbers. In other words, not a few people, but a lot
from this pattern. I'd really like to know after 22 years. I will respect
all reply's.
