Years ago...in the mid 80's....

there was a HUGE trial within Scientology having to do with a man named Larry W.

During this time, Heber was wearing a light blue ministers outfit, with hand embroidered gold crosses on this colar, and a gold embroidered Sea Org patch on his jacket.

Since he seemed to have very bad PR during this time, OSA asked some of us to take his photo (in the blue ministers outfit) and survey what the public thought in downtown LA>

It was totally shocking to hear their responses.

True stories:

Hi....we are doing a little survey.

Can you look at this photo and tell me what you think of when you see this man?

*diff people each response* "A con man."

"A liar"

"A cheat"

Ok..what kind of activities might a man like this be doing?

"Ohhh sitting by a pool with a bunch of babes, trying to take advantage of them".

"trying to get all the money out of you he can"

"telling you he will help you when really he is doing bad things".

What part of his outfit make you think of him like this?

"The gold patch makes him look like an Avis Rent a Car man"

"He phony gold crosses look so fake, he looks cheap"

" That gold patch looks like a fraturnity thing"

Needless to say, they changed ol Heber's outfit.

But it seems like they were pretty right on about his actions, huh?
