No monopoly on weird
I bet James Packer feels like a goose now that Greg Cantori has pointed out some of the weirder tenets of Scientology (Letters, November 27).
Murdered aliens, galactic overlords and nukes in volcanoes, indeed!
Come on, James, sign up to a more rational religion: perhaps one where two of every animal in the world fits into a boat 300 times the length of your forearm, and later a virgin gives birth to a super being who can walk on water, cure congenital blindness with a flick of the wrist, and transmute H2O into cab-sav.
Of course, if you're after a truly rational (and much cheaper) belief system, you could always try some healthy agnosticism.
