Answering machine message posted to abs

I posted a recording on alt.binaries.scientology taken from Jeff Jacobsen's father's answering machine. It is a message left a few days ago by an anonymous "friend" warning that there is an investifgation going on because of Jeff's activities and the family is in a lot of trouble.

Perhaps someone will recognize the voice.

Harlan, I'm a friend of yours. There's an investigation starting, and you're going to be involved in it. Due to your son Jeff, the trouble he is starting for a whole lot of people. Meanwhile, someone has gotten a list of my father's employees and is calling them saying they are my father's CPA, or that they're doing a project for his business, then asking personal and financial questions about my father and his business.

This is, of course, a mafia tactic. If you can't get somebody to shut up, you go after their family.

Thanks for posting this Jeff. I'm only unclear why you call it 'mafia tactics', when OSA has consistently shown itself more willing to degrade itself and the religion it claims to defend this way.

The Mafia may use families for their extortion, but they do have the decency to blush. OSA has no such compunctions.
